Brief introduction of colleges and universities

Nanjing Art Institute, referred to as "Nanyi" for short, was born in 19 12. It is the only comprehensive art college in Jiangsu Province, the earliest independent art college in China, and the first of the six major art colleges in China. It has been selected into the national graduate program of building a high-level university, the national advanced unit of school art education, the national experimental zone of talent training mode innovation, the national college students' innovation and entrepreneurship training program, the construction of national characteristic universities, and the social art level examination institutions. It is the only key university in Jiangsu Province with five first-class disciplines of art and postdoctoral mobile stations. Nanyi gave birth to the earliest art school system in China, initiated the earliest university disciplines such as art, music, dance, theory and drama in China, and was the founder of modern higher art education in China.

There are 38 undergraduate majors in visual communication design, environmental design, product design, clothing and costume design, public art, arts and crafts, digital media art, art and technology, advertising, art education, cultural industry management and public utilities management.
