How to treat non-professional photography

I am not a professional, but I like photography. When I first saw this sentence in the lofter community, my heart was a little turbulent. I don't want to define myself as a photographer, but I prefer to call myself a photographer.

At that time, I didn't have an iphone, only a Sony Ericsson mobile phone, and the pixel of the mobile phone was pitifully low. So I could only shoot some very simple things at that time, but I think those days had a great influence on me, because until now I will pursue simple and clean pictures.

I like simple things and advocate simple composition. I have no talent for photography. I have been doing one thing repeatedly in recent years, and it has become a habit to record at will. I gradually understand that photography is only convenient for me to record bits and pieces, people and things I meet, sights and things I see.

Nowadays, mobile phone software emerges one after another. I usually use Vsco, retouching and Skrwt. As for the later stage, I will hand over the pre-repair of photos to Apple's internal camera editor, and use Skrwt to stretch and correct the distortion of architectural photos. Retouching is to repair defects and remove spots. For me, Vsco is the last touch-up, just like washing your face before makeup. The later style is also slowly groping. Usually, I will read more works taken by others on Ins. I have always felt that the quality of taking pictures is not that important. The most important thing is to immerse yourself in it and be happy. Bring me happiness and satisfy my curiosity, that's all.

The convenience brought by mobile phone allows me to capture some ordinary pictures in my daily life, and I have gained a lot of experience besides noticing some small details in my life. I hope everyone can make good use of their mobile phones to take good photos and encourage each other.
