The behind-the-scenes production of Raymond Snitch's unfortunate adventure

The film is adapted from the first three books in the 1 1 series of best-selling children's books, Raymond Snitch: Bad Start, Repeated Room and Wide Window, written by writer Daniel Handler. Raymond Snitch's children's books have occupied the best-selling children's books list for more than 600 consecutive weeks, with global sales exceeding 27 million copies, which have been well received by The New York Times, Entertainment Weekly, US News and World Report and other media and readers.

Walter F. Parkes, a film producer, said, "Orphans have always been an important theme in family literature. Ironically, this theme is often the most promising and caring, because it reveals the challenges that all children will eventually face: growth and complex relationship with the adult world. " Laurie McDonald, another producer, said: "These stories are classic because they enable children to cope with some inevitable fears in a safe environment, and they also instill a sense that no matter what happens, everything will be fine." Nine months before shooting, the behind-the-scenes team was already in place, including two Oscar-nominated photographers emmanuel lubezki, artistic director John Dexter of Battle Planet, three Oscar-nominated set designers Cheryl Carasik, and Oscar-winning costume designer Colleen Atwood of Chicago. This film is directed by brad silberling, who has directed Ghost Horse and city of angels. When he first got a call from the production company, he knew nothing about Raymond Snitch. It was not until he entered the toy store in London that he realized that the dolls of Raymond Snitch's story characters were very interesting. Michael Randhir Ray, who worked with director brad silberling on Ghost Horse, served as the special effects director of the film. The production designer of this film is Rick Heinrich, who won the Oscar for Sleepless Valley. The film was originally produced by Scott Rudin and directed by barry sonnenfeld. In order to combine the special effects with the real baby, the special effects department uses motion capture technology, but because the motion capture technology needs to obtain the facial data of the characters and then input them into the computer, the computer will use these data to generate actions and expressions, but it is impossible for the baby to stand still or make expressions as required. Finally, the special effects department adopted an industrial light magic technology, successfully obtained the baby's facial data by using a press collector with soft rubber protrusions, and then captured their expressions as much as possible when the baby was in a natural state. Finally, the special effects team finally got all the data because the Hoffman twins who played the little baby Sonny cooperated very well and were carefully induced.
