Architectural photography in the Republic of China
↑ Click on "wei county Old Story" to pay attention to the ancient pagoda in Dongfeng West Street, the official account of WeChat. This is not nonsense. From about 1920 to 192 1 year, Swede Xi Renlong filmed Dongmenli Street in wei county. Shoot from east to west. Wei county Dongmenli Street 1942 to 1943, taken by a Japanese photographer. Shoot from west to east. The standard clock on the East Chaoyang Gate is an important reference. In the early 1940s, Japanese photographers photographed Dongmenli Street in wei county. Shoot from west to east. Today's Weifang City, crossing Yaxing Bridge to the west and not far west along Dongfeng West Street, you can see an ancient locust tree in the north lane, which is lush and lush. After all the widening and reconstruction of Dongfeng Street, or out of people's awe of ancient and famous trees, or because of politicians' openness and foresight, this ancient locust tree fortunately escaped all the urban reconstruction and road widening and survived. This section of Dongfeng West Street was formerly known as Dongmen Street in Wei County, and the location of this ancient pagoda originally belonged to the Confucian Temple in Wei County. After the founding of New China, the buildings of Confucius Temple were demolished one after another, and Xinhua Theatre was built, which was later converted into Weifang Auditorium. With the widening of Dongfeng Street in 1990s, the location of Guhuai eventually became the driveway of the road. Take a closer look at this old photo taken by Swedish Xi Long Ren during the period of 1920- 192 1. The main body of the photo is Guo's "Enbao III" Square opposite Dongmen Street in Wei County. It was shot from east to west, and the big tree faintly visible to the west through the gate of the square is the Confucian Temple Ancient Pagoda. The workshop "Enbao III" was built in the midsummer of the seventh year of tomorrow (1627). The banner reads "Enbao III", and the forehead reads "Fengyang right assistant minister, governor of grain transportation, and Guo Shangyou, right consultant of Douchayuan", with the inscription "Governor Li is the governor of Zhou Tai on Denglaiqing Road according to Wei Guangxu". The three generations praised by the workshop are Guo Shangyou, his father Guo Jingfu and his grandfather Guo Cui. In the 18th year of the Republic of China (1929), Zhang Fengqiao, the county magistrate of Wei County, presided over the demolition of 35 squares in Chengxiang, Wei County, one of which was the "Enbao III" square. In this old photo taken by Otto Asbrenner, a German, at an earlier sunset, although the same stone square was photographed from east to west, the ancient pagoda of Confucius Temple was not captured due to the shooting angle. The last two old photos were taken in the early 1940s during the Japanese puppet regime. Judging from the standard bell tower of Chaoyangmen in the foreground of the photo, the shooting direction is from west to east. Judging from its orientation, the leafy shadows in the photo are also ancient pagodas in the Confucian Temple. Iron powder can be added to WeChat wf54060046, knocking at the door to join the group.
