Shooting skills of party photos

1. Select the correct shooting position.

When taking stage photos, the shooting position is very important. When shooting an opera, it's best to choose the position in the middle left of the first row. Because the actors in general opera performances are left in and right out, the protagonist often has an "appearance" action after his appearance, which is a good time to shoot;

When shooting ballet, you should be in the aisle from row 6 to row 10 on the left. In these positions, you can clearly shoot the wonderful toe movements of the actors when they dance, and you can squat in the aisle to shoot the dance movements that take off, which can add a towering sense of volley;

When shooting a national dance drama or a symphony concert, the middle position in a row on the second floor of the theater is the most ideal shooting point, where you can shoot from top to bottom and shoot a magnificent stage scene!

2, master the characteristics of stage scene lighting.

To sum up, the light on the stage can be called "dim, changeable and strong contrast". The stage lighting is very weak, and because the actors are always moving, if you want to take clear photos, you'd better choose a large-caliber lens and appropriate high sensitivity. This can effectively improve the bad phenomenon that the contrast of stage lighting is too large and the influence level is monotonous. Stage lighting is different from ordinary lighting, and often changes with the development of the plot. The brightness is often several times different, and various colors and lights are mixed, which makes the photosensitive belt very complicated. Therefore, it is necessary to improvise in actual shooting and analyze the ability to feel various colors of light. In the case that the stage scenery cannot be completely recorded, you can take the method of "abandoning the pawn to protect the car" and expose it with reference to the brightness of the subject!

3. Choose the appropriate ISO.

For the sensitivity of stage photography, the sensitivity above ISO800 is generally enough, and too high ISO will bring obvious noise.

You can't trust the exposure meter completely.

When shooting, because it is far from the stage, the value measured by the exposure meter is the average brightness value of the whole stage (according to the programmed exposure). The content of shooting is often a part or a person on the stage, so it will inevitably lead to overexposure. Similarly, when the subject is in a dark area, there will be underexposure. Therefore, when shooting, we should increase or decrease the exposure according to the situation at that time in order to shoot a correctly exposed film.

Step 5 capture the moment

Capturing moments is a major feature of stage photography. In order to record the wonderful moments on the art stage, the photographer must first understand the development of the plot and some basic performance rules. Only in this way can we seize the fleeting climax.
