Indian wisdom
Is curry heavy and mushy?
Is it a shiny stack of gold ornaments?
Or a beauty?
Too many! Although the third brother is our neighbor, separated only by the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau (well, it is still far away), our impression of the third brother has been labeled as wonderful, not to mention his incredible caste system.
As a nation that can shout out that "princes would rather have seeds", as a nation that takes class mobility for granted.
We really can't imagine why Indians can tolerate consanguineous determinism. I am just reading the Wisdom of India, hoping to find some clues under the guidance of Mr. Lin Yutang.
As an ancient Indian classic, the original meaning of Veda is "knowledge".
Extension means ancient documents, such as Rigveda, Rigveda and Yeroveda.
We can see Indians' concern for the world soul and their demand for individual souls. Perhaps it was intoxicated with the romantic poem that God began with sumo, which made ancient Indians think about the birth of the world. Compared with other nationalities, Indians think deeply and extensively in this respect, so that it affects the individual soul.
The difference between Upanishads and Rigveda stems from thinking about the meaning of existence, and the teachings of Buddhism developed from Upanishads. The Buddha preached that human beings suffer, and this kind of suffering has a reason and is free. The traces of Upanishads can be clearly seen in the four layers of truth liberated from illusion, feeling and desire.
It can also be said that it is the "confused passion" that human beings pursue for the soul and its morality that constitutes the value of Upanishads.
The ultimate moral of Upanishads is that "a man who dresses in space is like a soft skin. He doesn't know that there is God, but suffering can rest". It is also the pursuit of soul and morality that leads to various religious ceremonies and attempts to explore them, and forms a unique world outlook.
"Yoga" is equivalent to "Tao"
The Bhagavad-gita is regarded as the "essence of the Vedas", and its relationship with Hinduism is just like the Sermon on the Mount and Christian teachings.
Mr. Lin Yutang believes that this passage must be a synthesis of many influential trends, thus satisfying his followers. And we can find the religious basis of "caste system" from it.
We find that Hinduism hates the treasure raft of the body and values the eternity of the soul.
The Bhagavad-gita regards the soul as a mixture of "three virtues" ("three virtues": kindness, affection and ignorance), which also leads to the difference in the quality of the soul. According to the quality, people are divided into four categories: Brahman, Khrushchev, Vishnu and sudra, emphasizing that only by working hard and believing can they be reborn in the afterlife.
It is inherent to emphasize that success can only be achieved by being content with one's vocation, and one must be content with one's own nature.
Emphasizing the efforts of fools, in today's world, it is impossible to distinguish nature from nature.
Here we finally found the religious basis of the "caste system" and the reason why Indians work hard in this world and never resist.
