Fuxian Lake Fuxian Lake is crystal clear, and the ancients called it "endless colored glass". Fuxian Lake is located in Chengjiang County, 52km away from Kunming and 5km away from Chengjiang County. It is the largest water storage lake, the largest plateau deep-water lake and the second deepest fresh water lake in China, belonging to Nanpanjiang River system, with a gourd-shaped north-south direction and a runoff area of 1053km2 (including Xingyun Lake of 378km2). When the altitude of Fuxian Lake is 1722.5m, the water area is about 2 16.6km2, the length of the lake is about 3 1.4km, the widest part of the lake is about1.8 km, and the total length of the coastline is about100. Fuxian Lake was formed at the end of Tertiary in geological age, and it is a deep-water lake with fault depression formed during the uplift of Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau. About 3 million years ago, due to the great changes in the earth's crust and the uplift of the Himalayas, a series of fault water storage and rock erosion caused many lakes in the mountainous areas of Yunnan Plateau. Fuxian Lake was the lake formed at that time. Historically, Fuxian Lake has long been recorded as a "big pool". Because the Luo tribe lived in Chengjiang during the Tang and Song Dynasties, it was called "Luojia Lake". The name of Fuxian Lake is also related to a fairy tale. Legend has it that the Jade Emperor sent Xiao and the Twelve Immortals from the sky to patrol the world. When they came to central Yunnan, they saw a pool of clear water and sparkling water. The two immortals were fascinated by the lakes and mountains and forgot to return. Over time, they became two huge stones hand in hand and stood by the lake forever. In the past, there were two stones side by side in the southeast of the lake It is said that it was a beautiful day for Xiaoshi and two immortals. When you sail on the lake, you can see two immortals looking at it. In order to leave its traces, it was named Fuxian Lake. According to legend, Fuxian Lake is not as big as it is now, and there is a prosperous county by the lake. Later, due to the duel between the dragon and the fairy, the pillars of Chengjiang City were hit, and Chengjiang City fell and became a Wang Yang.

Because there are many scenic spots around Fuxian Lake, it can be roughly divided into three scenic spots (spots): the east coast scenic spot centered on the hot water pond hot spring. The high-end holiday scenic spot on the north shore is centered on lakeside Shengshui (Moon Bay Wetland Park, Fuxian Lake Yuechun Hotel), Sakura Valley, Sun Mountain (Hilton Fuxian Lake Resort Hotel), Yuxi Manor National Eco-tourism Demonstration Zone and Fuxian Lake North Coast Wetland.
