First, RAW is a general term, NEF is Nikon's RAW format ~RAW is like a SLR camera ~NEF is like D5000~

Second, RAW+F is a photo in RAW format plus a fine JPG format ~ Because RAW can't browse directly ~ So you have to take an extra JPG to browse photos on the camera ~

Fine is fine ~ the best picture quality ~ large files ~

NORM stands for average ~ average ~ medium ~

It's basically the smallest format ~ slightly worse image quality ~ the smallest file ~
