"Les Barbapapa" (Les Barbapapa) is a cartoon produced by the Federal Republic of Germany in 1975. It was first broadcast in the United States in 1981 and was broadcast in the "Tangram" column of China Central Television in 1988.
The prototype of "Baba Papa" comes from the French comic of the same name published in 1970. The original creators were American-born cartoonist Drews Taylor and his architect wife Anat Thiessen.

Plot summary
In the yard of an ordinary family, one day a round pink ball grew underground. As time went by, the little ball grew bigger and bigger, and eventually he broke out of the ground and grew into a big oval man. The children named him Baba Daddy. Baba is optimistic and kind, and his soft body can change into any shape he wants.
Soon, he met Baba’s mother, who was all black and beautiful. The two got married and gave birth to seven children with different colors and personalities, namely Babazu, Babalala, Baba Libo, and Baba. Bubba, Bubba, Bubba, Bubba.
Baba and his family live in harmony with humans and live a life full of joy and surprise
