Postscript of the Millennium Journey program

Wang Jiyan, Executive Vice President of Phoenix TV Holdings Co., Ltd. and Director of the Chinese Channel

If your friends occasionally read this album, I hope you will not appreciate it as a work of photographic art. At best, what is carried here are commemorative photos left hastily by a group of TV people who traveled far away from their own TV reports. Of course, if you are willing to share the emotions recorded in these photos with us, that would be great.

I remember when I was teaching television courses to students in college, I did not advocate that television reporters be on the scene while filming television and completing photo works. Perhaps this kind of concept brought about the "Millennium Journey" During the process of collecting materials, my colleagues rarely picked up the camera while completing the TV film with unimaginable tension and unbearable labor. Now it seems that this is a great regret. It can be said with certainty that there was no dispatch. It was a mistake in our action design to have a full-time photographer accompany the "Millennium Journey".

However, having said that, if we had a full-time photographer to take photos, President Mr. Liu Changle and I would It is impossible to be the chief photographer of this album. Due to insufficient photos of the team members, the president and I dug through the records of three visits to the "Millennium Journey" and several days of living with the interview team, and selected many to display here. I have finally gotten over the addiction of producing photo albums...

As a TV action, "Millennium Journey" focuses on presenting the diverse information of the action to society during the action: One Hundred Multiple days of continuous reporting, four evening parties, two seminars, five episodes of "Facing the Truth" talk show, 13 episodes of book-length documentaries, as well as countless newspaper serials, Internet tracking, etc., constitute a systematic Television communication project. Now, as this album comes to an end, it’s time to come to an end.

The drama of “A Thousand Years of Journey” has come to its final curtain call. We would like to express our gratitude to Wanli’s journey through this album. Friends who have met and spent time with each other, whether they are presidents, kings, or ordinary people, the faces frozen here are so close and friendly. I think of what Phoenix likes to say: We keep moving forward because we have friends by our side. We keep climbing because there are friends cheering us.

Enthusiastic viewers wrote in and said that if Phoenix has time in a few years, it should do the "Millennium Journey" again. This is really a good doctrine. If there is such a thing If we have the opportunity, we will definitely do better and publish a real photo album.
