Hohhot Art School, founded in 1979, is a large-scale art secondary specialized school in Hohhot and a national quasi-departmental institution with the qualification of independently issuing academic certificates.

The general school is located at 0 km from Hu Bao Highway, with three branches: Film and Television Art Branch (2 km from Hu Liang Highway), Drama Branch (Tengfei Avenue in Ruyi Development Zone) and Modern Music Branch (3 1 Wenhua Palace Street). Four independent campuses have formed a unique art teaching model in our school. Ordinary schools have majors such as dance, vocal music, instrumental music, fine arts and cultural tourism. Film and television branch schools have programs hosting, film and television performances, photography and other majors. The drama department has specialties such as traditional Chinese opera, Shanxi opera and instrumental music. Modern music branch has modern music (pop singing, electronic vocal music) and other majors. The school has more than 0/000 students 1000, full-time teachers 120 and external teachers 100, with strong teachers and teaching strength. Over the years, we have been pursuing advanced teaching mode, following the scientific concept of running a school and cultivating all kinds of outstanding artistic talents for our country. Most of the students who graduated from our school are active in the literary arena in Inner Mongolia and Hohhot, becoming the backbone of various literary groups and making outstanding contributions to the cultural and artistic undertakings in Inner Mongolia. In recent years, more than 65% of graduates are engaged in professional cultural and artistic work, 30% continue their studies, and the employment rate of graduates reaches 95%.
