The Baiji dolphin is an ancient species unique to the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River. They lived 25 million years ago. Living in the Yangtze River, it is called a living fossil. Some experts believe that Baiji dolphins are more endangered than giant pandas. Qiqi, the Baiji dolphin, is the only artificially raised Baiji dolphin in the world.
