Previous exhibitions of Shanghai International Photography Art Exhibition

1986165438+1October1,the first international photography art exhibition held in China province and city, was grandly opened in Shanghai Exhibition Center, which opened a precedent for foreign cultural and artistic exchanges. The second to eighth exhibitions were held in 1988, 1990, 1994, 2000, 2002, 2004 and 2006 respectively. The manuscripts collected in the exhibition came from 62 countries and regions, and at most nearly 13000 manuscripts were received at one time.

In recent years, the invitation exhibition has invited thematic photography exhibitions including WPP, Reuters, Getty Pictures, the Royal Photographic Society, the American Photographers Association, and the works of many internationally renowned photographers. Since the sixth film festival, the film festival has been certified by the American Photographers Association (PSA) and the Royal Photographic Society (RPS), and the gold medal and other awards provided by it have been set up in the eighth film festival, further deepening the international authority of the film festival.

Eighth session

In 2006, the 2006 International Photography Week and the 8th Shanghai International Photography Art Exhibition were held in Shanghai Art Museum. As a result, the iconic Shanghai art brand "Shanghai International Photography Art Exhibition" has been extended to "Photography Week", further expanding the space for international communication. In order to enrich the content of Photography Week, the 8th Film Festival includes all the works of Shanghai Art Museum. In addition to the main exhibition, there are works by more than a dozen famous photographers at home and abroad. They are: Steven Bloom wildlife photography exhibition in Britain, Simon Norfolk, lecturer of Dutch master class, famous photographer of magnum photos, Nadaf Kanda, American fashion photographer, Anthony Su, lecturer of Dutch master class, famous photographer from China and Hong Kong, and Jian Qingfu, consultant of Shanghai Photographers Association. At the same time, they were invited to hold special lectures, which promoted the cultural exchange of photography between China and foreign countries, triggered the collision of Chinese and foreign photography concepts, and won unanimous praise from Shanghai photographers and photographers.

Ninth session

The 2008 International Photography Week and the 9th Shanghai International Photography Art Exhibition will be held in Shanghai Songjiang Art Museum on July 2nd, 2008. The 9th Film Exhibition has been certified by the world authoritative institutions, the American Photographic Society (PSA) and the Royal Photographic Society (RPS), and won the medals provided by them. After years of hard work, it was certified by FIAP for the first time, which made the film festival more authoritative and greatly improved the international popularity of the photo exhibition. Ms. Shao Hua, Chairman of China Photographers Association, was invited as the consultant of the 9th Film Festival. We also invited seven internationally renowned judges from Britain, France, the United States, the Netherlands and Japan, including Dr. Barry John, President of the Royal Photographic Society, Mr. Jack Martin, Director of the Biennale of the International Photographic Federation, and Mr. Tom millman, President of the Dutch Photographers Association. The film festival collects manuscripts. The invited exhibitions have been agreed as follows: Getty Pictures exhibition, Reuters 2 1 century sports theme photography exhibition, photographers' works of the Dutch Photographers Association, winners' exhibition in the Netherlands in 2008, and solo exhibitions of more than a dozen famous photographers in Europe and America.

The purpose of holding the 2008 International Photography Week and the 9th Shanghai International Photography Exhibition is to strengthen the communication between Chinese and foreign photography art, enhance the friendship between Chinese and foreign photography groups, constantly promote the creation and development of domestic photography art, prosper advanced socialist culture and promote the prosperity and development of regional economy. With the care and support of city leaders and the assistance of relevant organizations and departments, we will make persistent efforts and achieve better results.

Eleventh session

The 11th Shanghai International Photography Exhibition, jointly organized by Shanghai Library, Turpan Library and Turpan Museum, was exhibited in Turpan Museum. The exhibition showed 60 excellent photos. These works have different themes, forms and styles, and have a strong sense of the times. Many of these works combine the vision and concept of contemporary art with the traditional photography concept, which embodies the characteristics of modern photography art and shows the new vitality of the photography exhibition. It is a visual feast.

Twelfth session

The 12th International Photography Art Exhibition was held on 20 14, 10 and 13, and held every two years. It is the only international photographic art exhibition in China that has been demonstrated by the International Film Art Union, the American Photographic Society and the Royal Photographic Society. The main exhibition hall is in China Art Palace, the sub-exhibition area is in Shanghai International Shipping Center, and the series exhibition area is in Baoshan meilan lake area.

At the same time, an international photography invitation exhibition was held, which was conceived and planned by professional curators, widely collected from the society and selected from more than a thousand works. In addition, the maritime photography forum and several interactive sessions will guide photographers to participate in and understand the photography market more directly.
