Behind-the-scenes Production of Thirteen Assassins

The Thirteen Assassins, released on 1963, is a work in Japanese film history. The charm of the film lies in the clever handling of martial arts: the climax of the second half 13-man 53 riding is the feature of the film, and this large-scale kill array lasted for half an hour. The film broke the traditional one-on-one duel mode of the drama of the times and established a category of "group confrontation drama" focusing on hand-to-hand combat.

Compared with the old version, the final melee of this version has been upgraded on a large scale. The number of the two sides was 13 to 300, and the whole game lasted for 50 minutes.
