Examination of fracture of lateral condyle of humerus

X-ray shows that the fracture line of capitulum humeri mostly exceeds the ossification center 1/2, or does not pass through the ossification center, but there is a fracture line of metaphyseal end passing through cartilage between capitulum humeri and workshop sulcus. The broken piece can move laterally. X-ray film of fracture and dislocation shows that the fracture block and ulna and radius can be displaced to the radial or ulnar side, while lateral film shows that they can be displaced to the posterior side and occasionally to the forward side. The fracture of lateral condyle of humerus has many manifestations on X-ray film, and the same fracture type often has different manifestations.

In addition to the positive X-ray film of elbow joint, special posture images should be taken according to the injury, and the whole body X-ray film or CT examination should be carried out as appropriate.
