Jiaodingshan camp was born in recent years, and there has not been much publicity, but Jiaodingshan still attracts countless eyes with its unique charm. Ding Jiao is the first mountain camp in China at an altitude of 3,300 meters. The road has been repaired and a protective fence has been installed. It has two lanes in both directions, and ordinary family cars can go directly to the camp at an altitude of 3300 meters. It is the best mountain viewing platform with the best traffic conditions at present. Ding Jiao Mountain is positioned as an alpine camp with mild outdoor experience. The altitude varies from 800 to 3500 m, which is very different from the usual low-altitude scenic spots. Located between Mount Emei and Gongga Mountain, it is 700 meters higher than Mount Emei, making it easier to see the sea of clouds and closer to Gongga.

2. How to achieve it

Ding Jiao is located in Hanyuan, Sichuan, 260 kilometers away from Chengdu. The road in Ding Jiao Mountain shuttles between meadows and forests, with a width of six to ten meters, and there is no pressure at all. The slopes of Ding Jiao Mountain are mostly gentle, and there are no steep cliffs in other places, so the probability of geological disasters such as falling rocks and landslides will be very small. In addition, the roadside is protected to give drivers a sense of security.

Line 1: Depart from Chengdu, pass Chengya Expressway and Yaxi Expressway, and get off at Hanyuan Expressway. The whole expressway is 2 15km. Turn left at the first intersection of the expressway and arrive at Jiaodingshan camp via Malie Township. You don't need to walk all the way by car. Under normal driving conditions, it takes 4-5 hours to get there from Chengdu.

Route 2: Chengdu-Emei Mountain-Jinkouhe-Dadu River Canyon, Hanyuan Wu Si-Huangmu Town-Honghua Village-Fangcunguan-Jiaodingshan Camp. The whole journey is 300 kilometers, and the road conditions are good. The uphill section is wider than the Malie Township section, and you can enjoy the scenery of Dadu River Canyon along the way. Important note: There is no signpost before the second line reaches Fangcun Pass. If the navigation software is used for Ding Jiao Mountain, the error probability of the route behind Huangmu Town is very high. It is suggested that the navigation point be Fangcun Pass, and there is a signpost leading to Ding Jiao Mountain after reaching the pass.

3. Introduction of camp and observation deck

Camp No.1: Ganlongdang is located in Ding Jiao Mountain, and the first-phase wooden house is located in Camp No.1. At the same time, tourists are allowed to bring their own tents for free camping. Because camp 1 has no water source and no flushing toilet. Friends who have high accommodation requirements can choose Camp 3.

Camp 2: In fact, observation deck 2 is the legendary camp 2 for tourists. For safety and environmental protection reasons, camping is prohibited here.

Camp No.3: Deesiree Mulan Hotel and Haiyun Restaurant, luxury hotels with high comfort.

Observation Deck 1: It is located next to Camp 1 and above the base station on the roof. It takes 30-60 minutes to walk from Camp One. You can see the sea of clouds, Gongga, Rizhao, Jinshan and 10,000 mu of rhododendron sea.

Observation Deck No.2: (Sightseeing only, no camping), which is the nearest observation deck. Camp 1 is here, and it can be reached by walking 10 for more than minutes. You can also watch the sunrise in the sea of clouds, Jinshan in Rizhao, Buddha's light and so on.
