Why is the paraxial camera so expensive?

Paraxial cameras are generally smaller than SLR or double reflex cameras, and the design of interchangeable lenses is suitable for home use. The interchangeable lens is designed to meet the needs of professional users. Because of the low output and great competition, it is necessary to raise the price to maintain it.

Paraxial camera:

1. Also known as paraxial camera, it is named "paraxial" camera because the viewing optical axis is located next to the optical axis of the photographic lens and parallel to each other.

2. In the whole development process of camera technology, this kind of camera is the most diverse, and its structure is quite different, so it has the most cultural characteristics. From the outstanding Leica products, to the famous Lulai double-reverse, and then to the world's first paraxial digital camera Epson R-D1, etc., all of them are members of paraxial cameras, so paraxial cameras are undoubtedly an important component of camera development.

3. The paraxial camera was widely used before the SLR viewfinder system came out, and its viewfinder was also improved from the early head-up viewfinder (or optical viewfinder, that is, the viewfinder used on the stupid machine).

4. The framing mode of a paraxial camera is different from that of a SLR camera. It is not through the lens, but through an independent viewfinder, so there will be some parallax when framing at close range (advanced paraxial cameras have parallax compensation mechanism).
