Is the higher the pixels, the clearer it is?
The higher the pixels, the clearer the image.
Cameras with higher pixels have higher requirements on various aspects, such as the imaging quality of the lens and light conditions. Therefore, the higher the pixels of the camera, the clearer it will be when all aspects are optimized. But if the conditions are not optimal, it does not mean it is clear. Sometimes it will reduce the clarity. But in practice, there are many factors that restrict the clarity of photos. For example, hand shake, aperture size, focus accuracy, etc.
Pixels determine the detail of a photo, while imaging quality is determined by the camera's sensor, lens, image processor and other factors. For example: a photo is like a handful of sand. The higher the pixels, the more sand there is, but the quality of the image depends on the amount of impurities in the sand.
Pixel interpolation:
Normally, each pixel in a different location on the sensor makes up each pixel in the image. For example, a 5-megapixel photo is obtained by measuring and processing the light entering the shutter with 5 million pixels in the sensor (other pixels other than the effective pixels are only responsible for calculations).
But sometimes you can see a digital camera like this: it only has 3 million pixels, but it can output 6 million pixel photos! In fact, there is nothing false here, it's just that the camera calculates and interpolates based on the sensor's 3-megapixel measurement to increase the pixels of the photo.
When photographers take photos in JPEG format, the image quality of this "in-camera enlargement" will be better than that of enlarging on a computer, because "in-camera enlargement" occurs when the image is not compressed into JPEG. Completed before formatting. Photographers with experience in digital photo processing know that enlarging JPEG images on a computer will quickly reduce the delicateness and smoothness of the image.
