Sunshine principle of photography
When you have an auxiliary light source to fill the light, you can consider shooting with your back to the sun, which is called backlighting or side backlighting. The photos taken in this way have more layers of hair. But if it is not well controlled, it is easy to make the whole photo gray. When facing the sun, the color of the photo is usually brighter and the saturation is better. But because of the big gap, it is easy to lose the level of the dark part. There is no absolute method.
