In order to promote the cultivation of aviation innovation reserve talents and popularize aviation and UAV knowledge under the background of artificial intelligence era, from June to July, 2023, Guangdong Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, in conjunction with many units, held the 7th National Youth UAV Competition (Guangdong Division) in Dongguan, Jiangmen, Shenzhen and Qingyuan, with a total of 3,478 teams participating, setting the largest number of participating teams over the years.
Since 20 17 was first held, the National Youth UAV Competition has become the most authoritative, professional, fair and influential national competition in the field of youth UAVs in China. The number of participants in the national youth drone competition is the highest in the past years. Nearly 15000 contestants from 30 provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the central government and 2 special administrative regions participated in the competition.
Strong players compete on the same stage, and the competition is extremely fierce. It is not easy to win four national first prizes from nearly 65,438+05,000 contestants, which requires the efforts of small players and careful training by the school.
Hengcun Primary School has strict curriculum requirements, offering all-science courses, strengthening experimental operation and equipping experimental equipment, adopting the basic forms of "learning-centered" and "learning evaluation" to improve students' learning ability, and intervening in the classroom with "beautiful star" evaluation to stimulate students' learning enthusiasm and make them learn well.
The school actively responded to the call to improve the information literacy of primary and secondary school students, and combined with the national "double reduction" policy, actively established an aerial robot programming community, specially set up a drone programming training room, set up community classes after school every Wednesday, and had professional coaches to guide and train the team members, which effectively enriched and expanded the connotation of after-school service and made students learn better.
The school adheres to the educational philosophy of "tapping potential, developing individuality and making everyone grow up happily", and actively holds scientific and technological exhibition activities for teachers and students, so that the scientific and technological atmosphere can permeate every corner of the campus and students can study happily.
