Wedding process

The basic process of marriage is generally divided into four parts: marriage registration, wedding preparation, wedding holding and bride's return.

First, marriage registration

Marriage registration is a system to supervise and manage the establishment of marriage relationship in China, which requires every man and woman who wants to get married to apply for a marriage certificate according to the procedures. There are generally four processes: obtaining a license, taking a wedding photo, verifying and registering for marriage.

Second, the wedding preparation

1, wedding software preparation. Before the wedding, parents and newlyweds should decide the date, place, ceremony and wedding reception. In this process, they should try to neutralize the opinions of both sides and respect the wishes of both husband and wife. At the same time, the couple also need to discuss the wedding plan and determine the choice of the best man, bridesmaid and wedding personnel.

2, wedding hardware preparation. The layout of the wedding room and the preparations for the wedding day, such as local popular wedding customs, wedding photo arrangement, wedding makeup appointment, wedding car appointment, wedding banquet appointment, wedding camera appointment, etc.

When everything is ready, both parties can invite relatives and friends to the wedding according to actual needs, mainly by sending invitations, supplemented by telephone communication, trying to ensure that all the people who need to be notified are in place and making detailed feedback records.

Third, hold a wedding.

Weddings are generally divided into Chinese and western styles, and the more general wedding process is generally divided into three processes.

1, confirmed the day before the wedding.

On the day before the wedding, the families, newlyweds and wedding personnel of both parties conducted a comprehensive and detailed communication on the completion of the wedding preparations to ensure that there were no accidents on the wedding day.

2. The process of the wedding day

Preparation before the wedding (5: 00 ~ 09: 00): The bride and groom start to make up, prepare the wedding car, small objects, the best man and bridesmaid, and prepare the wedding scene.

Bride snatching (9: 00 ~ 10: 00): The groom prepares flowers and red envelopes, and the bride hides new shoes at her parents' house. The groom leads the best man to the bride's door to deal with the bridesmaids (knocking at the door, asking questions, stuffing red envelopes, squeezing the door). After the bride's door opened, the groom began to look for new shoes and made a promise of love. The groom took the bride out, tied the ribbon, stepped on the balloon, boarded the wedding car and set off.

Welcome the bride (10: 00 ~11:00): When we arrive at the new house, the groom takes the bride into the room, ties the ribbon and steps on the balloon. The bride offered tea to the man's parents.

Wedding ceremony (usually at 12: 20): relatives and friends arrive on time, and the wedding master enters the presiding session. The bride and groom obey the arrangement and complete the etiquette under the witness of relatives and friends.

Tip: If it is a Chinese marriage, you need to follow the relevant etiquette to worship the world. If it is a western-style wedding, witnesses need to exchange rings according to relevant procedures.

Wedding reception (13:00~ 14:00): The wedding reception officially started, and the bride and groom dressed up for a toast.

The wedding is over (14: 00): guests leave one after another, or there are other small parties.

Fourth, the bride returns to the door.

The bride's return to her parents' home, also known as "mothering", is a traditional custom in China, which generally refers to the bride's first return to her parents' home three days after marriage, and the time varies according to the customs in different regions. "Going home in three days" is not only an emotional comfort to parents, but also an opportunity for daughters to talk to their parents and thank them for their kindness.
