However, if you don't have time to fully remember the content of the speech and go beyond this embarrassing valley, then you can use the key reminder card method. As long as you know what each key point you want to say is, then focus on how to move from one key point to the next.

And watch your tone. Some speakers may want to be authoritative, smart, powerful or kind ... but don't push too hard, don't take it personally, just be yourself. If a successful speech is a trip, make sure you don't upset your fellow travelers at the beginning. Some speakers will express excessive self-awareness, and their speeches will sound condescending or self-righteous, and the audience will not buy it at all.

The way to prepare a ted speech: show stage manners

For an inexperienced speaker, standing on the podium may be the most difficult part of the speech. Generally speaking, people are too worried and nervous. Tension is not a disaster, it is a natural physical reaction, which can actually improve your performance: it gives you the ability to perform and keep a clear head, and admits that tension can produce concentration. As long as you truly show your weaknesses, whether it is nervousness or intonation, it is one of the best ways to win the audience.
