Parking radar, also known as parking assistance system, or parking computer early warning system, is a safety assistance device when parking or reversing a car. The driver can be informed of the surrounding obstacles through sound or more intuitive display, which reduces the trouble caused by the driver looking around when parking, reversing and starting the vehicle, helps the driver to eliminate the defects of blind spots and blurred vision, and improves driving safety. The reversing radar is designed and developed according to the principle that bats fly at high speed in the dark and will not collide with any obstacles. Reversing radar function

The reversing radar is designed and developed according to the principle that bats fly at high speed in the dark without colliding with any obstacles [1]. The probe is mounted on the rear bumper. According to different prices and brands, there are two, three, four, six, eight, ten and twelve probes, which are mainly installed on the front and rear bumpers. The probe can radiate at the maximum horizontal range of 120 degrees and the vertical range of 70 degrees, and search for the target up, down, left and right. Its biggest advantage is that it can explore obstacles that are lower than the bumper and difficult for the driver to see from the rear window, and call the police, such as flower beds, shoulders, children squatting behind the car and so on.

There are two kinds of displays for reversing radar, one is mounted on the rearview mirror for reversing, and the other is attached to the front corner of the driving dashboard. Because of convenience, most customers choose the style mounted on the dashboard. After installation, it will constantly remind the driver how far the car is from the object behind. When the distance is dangerous, the buzzer starts to sound to remind the driver to get close to the obstacle and stop in time.

The reversing radar is equivalent to an ultrasonic probe. Generally speaking, ultrasonic probes can be divided into two categories: one is to generate ultrasonic waves electrically, and the other is to generate ultrasonic waves mechanically. Considering the commonly used piezoelectric ultrasonic generator, it has two electronic chips and a resonator plate. When a pulse signal is applied to the two poles, its frequency is equal to the natural oscillation frequency of the piezoelectric chip, and the pressure chip will resonate, driving the resonant plate to vibrate, and the mechanical energy will be converted into an electrical signal. In order to better study and use ultrasonic waves, people have designed and manufactured many ultrasonic sounders, and ultrasonic probes have been applied to the use of automobile reversing radar.
