The Development History of Wenzhou Daily

1 In May, Wenzhou Daily's predecessor, Southern Zhejiang Weekly, was founded according to Xiaofangshan, Aohou Village, Guifeng Township, Ruian City, a guerrilla base in southern Zhejiang, and was temporarily registered as a current affairs weekly by the decision of the Special Committee of Central Zhejiang. The weekly report is headed by Hu Jing, Minister of Propaganda Department of the Special Committee, and Zheng Boyong, Vice Minister. Current Affairs Weekly is a mimeographed newspaper, divided into four editions and four editions with a print run of 600 copies. Its main content is the telecommunications provided by the special radio station of Xinhua News Agency. The first editor, Anbang; Engraving and mimeograph are the responsibility of Hong Ping and Xie Gongfu respectively.

1949

On May 7, Wenzhou was liberated. Issue "Zhejiang Southern Weekly Extra" entitled "Zhejiang Southern People's Liberation Army Liberates Wenzhou". The Southern Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee decided to change the Southern Zhejiang Weekly into the Southern Zhejiang Daily, and the Military Management Committee accepted the old Southern Zhejiang European Daily and handed it over to the Southern Zhejiang Daily for use.

On May 12, South Zhejiang Daily was officially published. The first big newspaper printed on four pages, according to the serial number of South Zhejiang Weekly, has the 94th issue. The registration word is written by Xia Ziyi, and the headline reads: "Publishing Editor: South Zhejiang Daily, Martial Management Committee". Hu, the propaganda minister of the southern Zhejiang prefectural party committee and director of the political department of the southern Zhejiang guerrilla column of the China People's Liberation Army, is also the president and editor-in-chief of the newspaper. The newspaper is located in Hualiutang, and the editorial department is temporarily located in Fuchenghuang. Each issue is about 2000 copies.

1950

On June+10, 5438, Gao Guang and other eight comrades were transferred to Zhejiang Southern Daily, and Gao Guang served as vice president and editor-in-chief. At the same time, the report group from the county enriched the strength of the editorial department, and the number of editors increased to more than 20.

On June 17, the first edition of the headline published the Notice on All party member Cadres Learning to Use South Zhejiang Daily, which was issued by Wenzhou prefectural Party Committee and Wenzhou District Commissioner's Office.

On March 1 day, the southern Zhejiang popular newspaper was changed from the alternate day issue to the Saturday issue, and the five-character version of the southern Zhejiang popular newspaper was signed, setting the font of Lu Xun. On the same day, the editorial department moved from the front of the county seat to Park Road.

On June 4th, 65438/KLOC-0, due to the gang's "seizure of power", the publication of Southern Zhejiang Volkswagen was forced to stop, and Xinhua Telecom was changed with the headline "Temporary Joint Command of Wenzhou Revolution and Rebellion". Since then, a number of leading cadres and intellectuals have been criticized and persecuted.

On March 4th, Xinhua Telecom * * * issued 10 issue, changed to Xinhua News Agency, and issued "sponsored by Mao Zedong Thought Combat Brigade, a popular newspaper in southern Zhejiang", with 22 issues in total.

On March 2 1, the new number 1 of "Southern Zhejiang Volkswagen" was changed, and the masthead was in bold type. By June1* * 65, Xinhua Telecom had been replaced.

August 1 day, the report of south Zhejiang Volkswagen No.66 continued.

On August 29th, Xinhua Telecom was replaced with no serial number.

1968

On April 5, Wenzhou Arms Control appointed an arms control group to the newspaper to implement military control.

On May 1 day, Red 1 was published.

On June 22nd, the Revolutionary Committee of Southern Zhejiang People's Daily was established, with military representative Ji Youming as its director.

1970

On February 4th, 65438, Wenzhou prefectural party committee decided that Wu Jun, deputy director of the propaganda department of the prefectural party committee, was responsible for preparing revenge publications for the masses in southern Zhejiang.

1980

On March 15, the prefectural party committee issued the Notice on Reprinting the Southern Zhejiang Daily.

In March, this newspaper recruited the first batch of editors for re-publication, and then repeatedly recruited 68 comrades.

On April 12, Wenzhou prefectural party Committee appointed Wu Jun, vice minister of propaganda department of the prefectural party Committee, as editor-in-chief and party secretary, Ding Chunlin as deputy editor-in-chief and deputy secretary of the party Committee, and Zhou Yilin and Lin Bai as deputy editors-in-chief and party members.

On May 1 day, the trial issue of South Zhejiang Daily, with four editions, was inscribed by Shu Tong. Trial publication for two months, * * * issue 18.

In June, the newspaper "Internal Reference" was founded and published irregularly.

On July 1 day, South Zhejiang Daily was officially reissued and published 165 17 copies on the same day.

The editorial department of this newspaper published an article in the February edition: "Unifying ideological understanding and inspiring revolutionary spirit", summarizing "the discussion triggered by the distress of a rural grassroots cadre". This discussion started on September 27th 1980 and ended on September 27th1end of October 198 1. Choose to publish more than 100 articles, * * 34 issues, to help rural grassroots cadres better understand and implement the line, principles and policies formulated by the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee, and achieved good results.

On May 1 day, the editorial department of Zhejiang Southern Daily and the Municipal Agriculture Committee jointly launched the trial publication of the rural science and technology edition of Zhejiang Southern Daily, which was officially published two months later, with a weekly issue of 50,000 copies, ending on June 1984.

1984

In March, this newspaper purchased two sets of offset printing wheel machines for books and newspapers, changed relief printing into offset printing, and took the lead in adopting this advanced equipment in the province.

On April 9th, Wenzhou Municipal Committee appointed Ding Chunlin as editor-in-chief and party secretary of this newspaper, Dai as deputy secretary of the party committee, Zhu Jiafu as deputy editor-in-chief, Zhou Yilin and Lin Bai as researchers. On July 1 day, South Zhejiang Daily was renamed Wenzhou Daily, and the registration was inscribed by Shu Tong.
