Fishing and fire festival tourism

Walking on the flagstone road in the twilight of West Street and tapping your heel gently on the road will have a strange impulse, an impulse to live. A tourist from America said, "The buildings in West Street are unique and exquisite. This alone will take you several days. " Nowadays, in West Street, you can see more foreigners than people in China. This small street, which is only 5 17 meters long, is the most traditional street in southern China, with slate pavement and gray brick arcade; But it is the strangest: almost all the signboards are in English, and there are at least 10 shops in the small street with "Internet" and "e-mail" services, and there are multimedia computers in the shops-this computer is likely to be placed on a farmer's desk with peeling paint. There are almost three kinds of shops in West Street, coffee shop, T-shirt shop and handicraft shop. So if you come to Yangshuo, you have to come to West Street.

In 1980s, Lonely Planet, regarded as the Bible by western backpackers, introduced the unique style of Yangshuo West Street. Gradually, it has become a gathering place for foreign backpackers. With the increase of foreign tourists, some foreigners who are infatuated with the West Street customs simply "set up camp" here and opened hotels and restaurants.

People living in West Street either sit together in twos and threes, or sit alone in different bars, order a capchino, drink a bottle of wine while watching a movie, or sit quietly. Most people in bars in Yangshuo are not at home, so when someone invites you to have a drink or join their conversation, there is no need to refuse. There are books in the bar. You can read books if you want to be alone.

Behind every house and storefront in West Street, you can find some legends. For example, Lin Dong, known as "Picasso in West Street", serves only three roast chickens or three grilled fish every night, and Zhou Ruyun, the first roast in Yangshuo.

West Street is like a treasure. You will find more and more friends and more stories. Every day, I will see different West Street and different Yangshuo. When you arrive in Yangshuo, let your bike run on the country road with mixed scenery, smell the country in the green mountains and green waters, take a deep breath of the sweetest air of nature, smell the birds and flowers all the way, and laugh all the way.

There are many bicycle rental stalls on the streets of Yangshuo, and there are both single-seat and double-seat bicycles for rent. Yin Shuo has 10 mature bicycle tour routes. The classic is: after breakfast, ride a bicycle to see the land scenery in Yangshuo and go to Yulong River. Yulong River, also known as "Little Lijiang River", is very suitable for hiking, picturesque scenery along the river, walking in the country, stopping and stopping, enjoying the fun of hiking, freedom and leisure fun of riding all the way. Then ride a bike to Moon Mountain, not far from the big banyan tree, and climb to the top. Visitors can have a panoramic view of Yangshuo, climb mountains and have a unique flavor, and then return to Yangshuo by bus. After lunch, start from Yangshuo, go along Guihua Road to Longsheng Autonomous County, a concentrated area of ethnic minorities in Guangxi, and first go to Yinshui Dong Village to listen to the Millennium song known as "God Note". Take a look at Yufeng Bridge, one of the four ancient bridge buildings in China. There are also young castellans to tell you about the vicissitudes of the Dong people. Later, Paopaolong won Aileen Hot Spring, and along the way, you can also see the wonders of "eight mountains, one water and one field" in Guangxi. Yangshuo is a sacred place for rock climbers all over the world, because Yangshuo is a region with special karst landforms. There are thousands of strange rocks rising from the ground and thousands of routes to climb. The relatively simple climbing routes that Yangshuo is generally open to tourists are: Moon Mountain (you have to buy tickets at the gate of the scenic spot before going to Moon Mountain, and the climbing place is at the top of the mountain. There is a stone road leading directly to the top of the mountain, and it takes twenty or thirty minutes to walk. Moon Mountain is the earliest and most attractive natural climbing ground in Yangshuo, and the big banyan tree (near Moon Mountain, about 6 kilometers away from the county seat) is also a famous scenic spot in Yangshuo. The rock wall where the route is located is in the west of the scenic spot, just across a village), Tongmen Mountain (located by the yu long River, about 20 minutes' walk from the big banyan tree to the upper reaches of the Yulong River), Thumb Peak (this peak is located on the road between Jinmao Cave and the big banyan tree, about 5 kilometers away from the county seat) and Jinmao Cave (near the road here, about 4 kilometers away from the county seat). There are five routes to spread the expansion cone, which is suitable for beginners.

The guide took us to the rock climbing route near butterfly spring, which is said to be one of the most challenging routes in Yangshuo.

hiking

Walking on the Lijiang River, starting from Di Yang Pier of the Lijiang River in Yangshuo and arriving at Xingping, the journey is more than ten kilometers, which can basically be completed in 5-6 hours. In this way, the landscape of zero-distance contact with the Lijiang River naturally becomes.

There are five routes on foot on the Lijiang River in Yangshuo. The more mature and classic ones are Di Yang-Wang Fu-Jiuma Huashan-Lengfengdu-Xingping Ancient Town. When hiking, you must not just bury your head in walking, but look around as much as possible, and look at the painter's favorite scenery, accompanied by imagining Liu Sanjie's singing. There are three places in this route that must not be missed. One is Nine Horses Painting Mountain. This is a famous scenic spot of Lijiang River. Legend has it that the more horses people see here, the better you are. It is said that Premier Zhou saw nine fine horses that year. One is to look for the Lijiang River scenery on the back of the new version of 20 yuan. Not far from Xingping ancient town, there is a place called Huangbu reflection. How beautiful is the reflection of this yellow cloth? Let me describe it. Layers of green peaks are reflected in the river. If there is water mist hanging over the bamboo forest where the spring breeze is swaying gently, a bamboo raft always floats in the river. The first is Xingping ancient town. Xingping is very small. The old street is a stone road and an old house, while the new street is a cement road and a new house. There are many food stalls and two or three hotels.

You can stay in Xingping for one night after walking, and then walk back to Yangshuo the next day if you have physical strength and interest. This is another way. There is a dock on the west side of Xingping Town, and there is a steep and towering stone mountain nearly 200 meters south of the road leading to the dock. There is a path leading to the viewing pavilion, and it takes a little effort to climb it. Further south is Luosi Mountain, and across the river is a fishing village famous for Clinton's visit. You can see Yangshuo around Longtou Mountain from the fishing village. Yangshuo has 1 1 ethnic groups, such as Han, Zhuang, Yao and Miao. In addition to their own customs and festivals, all ethnic groups have a common feature, that is, they are good at folk songs. Among them, the most distinctive ones are the Mid-Autumn Festival in Gaotian, a Zhuang township, and the "song hall prayer meeting" of the Yao people in Welfare Weilong. From Yangshuo, 16 km to Guilin, there is a place called Stone Town, which is actually a village, named after the stone wall outside the village. The vicissitudes of time have given this city wall a sense of history. The houses of villagers in Stone Town are basically built of stone, and the tiles on the roof are all made of stone. The house is hidden in the shade of a tree and blends in with nature.

You must also carefully observe the old houses in Xingping, and you can find them on any street. You can see from the appearance that they have a history of hundreds of years. The mottled and decayed wood and mossy black tiles reveal the passage of the past years.

Xingping fishing village is absolutely necessary. That's Clinton's favorite place. This fishing village is the epitome of ancient oriental farming civilization. It is located on the Lijiang River about 1.5 km from Xingping Ancient Town in Yangshuo. It is a typical ancient village of Lingnan culture in China with a history of nearly 500 years.

There are 48 well-preserved traditional houses in the village, with blue bricks and black tiles, sloping roofs, horse-headed walls, cornices and carved windows, which are typical of the houses in northern China during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Surrounded by the Lijiang River in front of the village, it is like a jade belt.

If you want to live in a farmhouse, it is suggested to find a place to live by the Lijiang River or Yulong River, eat a hearty farmhouse meal, offer a cup of tea, sit under the loofah vine and quietly listen to the river flowing peacefully and happily 200 meters ahead. The air is filled with the smell of grapefruit, and your mood is wobbly and relaxed. The night of the farmhouse is quiet and serene. In the face of all the darkness, you can hear the whispering of leaves, and bamboo shoots are growing happily in the bamboo forest near the water.

Not far from Yangshuo County, there is a scenic spot called "Xanadu", which is a good place to experience Yangshuo folk customs. You can take a boat through Taoyuan Cave and find a small village that is almost isolated from the world. It is said that people in the village live a long life, but tourists had better not disturb its tranquility. You can also find a group of indigenous tribes from the border between China and Myanmar, and even the customs and specialties of Zhuang, Yao and Miao, the main ethnic minorities in Yangshuo, can be found here. The night tour of Lijiang River has a special flavor. Take a boat from Guilin to Yangshuo in the evening. In the twilight, the Qifeng meets the shore, the water warbler returns, the river catches fire, and the lights on the shore are dotted with poetry.

The latter, in particular, boarded the boat at Yangshuo Wharf after dinner, which can accommodate about 10 people and 25 yuan/person. After driving a few kilometers, we will cruise back and forth on the Lijiang River. One or two small bamboo rafts will perform osprey fishing, and a small light will light up beside the cruise ship. The river is clear and shallow, and you can clearly see the scene of the osprey swimming underwater. People who love nature life should not miss it. After watching the performance, the cruise ship stopped at a shoal, and fishermen and osprey could take pictures as a souvenir.

There are many fish in the clear pool of Lijiang River, and fishermen have a bumper harvest all year round. Every year1October 30 10, Yangshuo will hold a fishing and fire festival, next to Moonlight Island in Di Yang, at Banyan Beach in Xingping, at Baishawan in the county, and at the foot of panzhuang in Moon Mountain. Whenever the night is dim, only a silhouette is left near the distant mountain. A bamboo raft with fishing lights floats on the river and cormorants are fishing.

I suggest you don't forget to go to Yangshuo to enjoy the sunset, which is the most beautiful sunset you have ever seen and one of the most beautiful moments in Yangshuo landscape.

The number of foreign tourists in Yangshuo is more than ten times that of local residents every year, so many people think that Yangshuo is a good place to cure "dumb English" and "deaf English". Some people say that West Street is the biggest foreign language corner in China. Here, many times there are more people who speak English than Chinese. Besides English, some people speak French, Swedish and Danish. The owner of every shop and the waiter of every cafe in West Street are used to entertaining guests in English. And all this is inseparable from a man named Owen, a man with the same name as my favorite star. Owen founded many firsts in Yangshuo: the first IDD (international direct dial) user, the first fax (fax) user, the first person to surf the Internet and open an Internet cafe, the first PC (computer) trainer, the first person to open a foreign language school, the first person to recruit foreigners as compulsory foreign language teachers, the first person to recruit foreign students, the first person to open an English college, and the first person to open an English college. The first person to be certified by Cambridge University in England, the first person to run a foreign language school in Yangshuo by the Ministry of Education, the first person to launch a world-popular canoe (canoe) movement, and the first person to jointly run a school overseas. When I met him, he was still busy with several things: organizing overseas students, establishing a national volunteer network, and helping people who needed English communication. You must speak English when you go to Yangshuo for three months. Although there is no lack of exaggeration, it is also feasible. There are two or three restaurants in front of the pier. After eating, discuss with the proprietress about going to Xingping, and she will arrange a motorized sailboat to pick you up for sightseeing. This ship can only take four people at most, and it is better to take two people.

Mountains and water are the essence of Yangshuo. In my opinion, the waterway tourist routes in Yangshuo can be divided into two parts. One is the traditional Guilin-Yangshuo Di Yang-Yangshuo Xingping. This route is the tour route of the President of the United States, Zhou Enlai, Deng Xiaoping and other parties and countries. Because it goes directly to Yangshuo, we only take the Di Yang-Yangshuo Xingping section of Yangshuo, which takes about three hours to go back and forth, and the fare is about. We took a slightly larger boat, the kind with a steel plate at the top. The advantage is that we stay on the steel plate at the top of the ship from beginning to end, or lie or stand, and the view is slightly unobstructed. The Lijiang River has beautiful scenery, birds singing and cattle playing by the river, and children playing by the water, which makes people want to live.

The second part of the waterway tour route is bamboo rafting, which is carried out in Yulong River. Yulong River refers to the section from Baisha Xanadu to Dayangshu Gongnong Bridge, which is about16km long, 38-6 1 m wide and 0.5-2m deep. The water quality is clear all the year round and the water flow is slow.

The difference between Yulong River rafting and general rafting is that it is not a torrent, but a calm rafting. The main purpose of drifting is not to stimulate, but to lie on the couch on the bamboo raft and enjoy the quiet river, the pastoral, and the feeling that time seems to have stopped, just occasionally rushing down the small dam to make you laugh quietly. This calm drifting is good for you to enjoy the scenery of Yangshuo. The peaks on both sides of Yulong River are beautiful and varied, with lush green grass, lush bamboo forests and shady banks. The Yulong River is clear and transparent, with fish wandering and water rows swaying, which can be seen one by one. The breeze blows over the water, rippling blue waves, standing on the river bank, let the breeze caress your face, all your troubles will be alleviated, and the subsequent calm and open-mindedness will give you a pleasant comfort.

The pastoral scenery of Yulong River is also a must. On both sides of the river bank, the fields are flat and open, and full of green is full of fragrance. This kind of scenery and feeling can't be found in Lijiang River, which is the best in the world.

Drifting is very interesting. He will tell some legends and stories while rowing with you. He still remembers the origin of Yulong River. He said this: A long time ago, there was a dragon in the East China Sea. Seeing such beautiful scenery, he felt that the East China Sea was eclipsed, so he hid and stayed. The dragon surfaced at night and greedily looked at the beautiful scenery. Later, it sometimes couldn't help sneaking out during the day. Many villagers have seen it, hence the name Yulong River.

Note: This route is in great demand. If you go rafting in Yulong River during May Day and November Day, you must remember to make a reservation.
