How to fold the reflector?

The reflector is an auxiliary equipment in shooting. Usually used with brackets and lights at the same time, it can make the plain picture more full and stereoscopic, reflecting a good texture. It can refract part of the light and make the details that need to be highlighted clearer. The fill light is soft and will not cause the sharp feeling brought by the flash fill light. How to use the reflector? How to fold the reflector? Let's have a look. First of all, the purpose of the reflector

The reflector is a light compensation device when shooting. Common reflectors are white, silver, gold and black. But occasionally soft curtains or "gauze curtains" are used. White reflector has natural and soft light, and is usually used for general supplementary light. Silver reflector is as bright as a mirror, with strong reflected light, and is often used to make eye light. The golden reflector provides warm and intense light. Unlike the silver reflector, the golden reflector is usually used as the main light for portrait photography, and the silver reflector is usually used as the auxiliary light. The black reflector uses dimming method to reduce the amount of light. The soft light board plays the role of filtering and weakening light between light and objects or people, which can soften light and reduce contrast.

In fact, the use of reflector is far more than that. After modification, the reflector can also derive strange uses. For example:

1, photographic table

A soft light board is arranged, which can be used as a photographic table.

2. Fan

If you want to use some smoke in shooting, the reflector is an excellent smoking fan.

Step 3 place the board

If you want to change the lens when shooting outdoors, you can put the changed lens on the reflector first to prevent dust from entering.

4. Light and shade method

What should I do if I shoot too much in summer? It's much cooler to wear a reflector on your head!

5. Background wall

It is good to use white or soft surfaces as the background of portrait photography!

Second, the use of reflector

General skills

1, as long as you don't shoot, the closer you are to the subject, the better.

2. It will be very convenient if there is an assistant or friend to help control the reflector.

It doesn't matter if you don't have friends to help you. You can use a tripod or other supporting objects.

4. The function of the reflector is to make the light shining on the main body more uniform and weaken the shadow.

5. Select the appropriate reflecting surface under different lighting conditions.

Outdoor shooting

1, make the main body back to the sun, and fill the light with a reflector.

2. When taking portraits, pay attention to the shadows of eyes and cheeks.

Indoor shooting

1, use an external flash or photographic light.

2. Use a reflector to reflect light and illuminate the whole body.

3. When taking a portrait, reflect the light at a 45-degree angle.

Third, how to fold the reflector?

The mirror needs to be folded after it is used up. There are two ways.

Method 1:

Step 1: Hold both ends tightly with both hands and fold towards the middle;

Step 2: Hold the front section with your right hand, hold the back section with your body, and fold it clockwise;

Step 3: Right hand down, left hand up, fold up. After folding, you can see three circles.

Method 2:

Step 1: Hold your hands on one side and hold them forward and backward at the same time;

Step 2: rotate counterclockwise along the gesture to make the reflector form an 8-shaped block;

Step 3: Fold it to the middle to form three circles. The circle in the middle is sandwiched in the middle, that's ok.
