Tolerance of digital photography

First of all, you should understand that the human eye is the product of thousands of years of evolution and can automatically adjust the light perception of each scene to get a more detailed picture. The human visual nerve can automatically brighten the dark part and lower the bright part. The camera is essentially a tool for quantifying light. It can accurately quantify as much light as it receives, without automatic adjustment. In fact, the later stage is a process of adjustment. The tolerance of modern digital cameras is really low, and the data quantization is too accurate. In old film photography, all kinds of films have their own uses, and different scenes have different films. Film has the function of adjusting highlights and dark parts, so it has a high tolerance, and more details can be obtained by suitable film. But it has the disadvantage of low adjustability, which is also a choice, which is why so many photographers still love it.
