Xiaomi 12 warm-up: CyberFocus all-purpose tracking technology will be released to achieve fast capture

IT House reported on December 25 that today Xiaomi is preheating the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 12 mobile phone. This phone is equipped with CyberFocus, a technology that can recognize a variety of subjects, control the camera to focus, learn subject characteristics, and track focus. Therefore, the Xiaomi Mi 12 mobile phone can achieve better capture effects and improve the shooting success rate.

According to officials, CyberFocus’s all-in-one focus tracking technology is derived from the owner tracking technology of Xiaomi’s robot dog CyberDog and belongs to a category of computational photography technology.

IT House learned that Xiaomi released the CyberDog "Iron Egg" quadruped robot on August 10, 2021. This product is equipped with a high-precision environmental sensing system, with 11 high-precision sensors all over the body. There are multiple cameras of different specifications directly in front of the robot, including binocular wide-angle cameras, depth cameras, AI interactive cameras, etc. It uses some of Intel's technologies to track and identify the human body. The robot can automatically follow its owner, achieving an effect similar to "walking a dog".

IT House previously reported that Xiaomi Mi 12 series mobile phones will be equipped with a new imaging architecture and have new camera breakthroughs: faster and more stable. Mobile phone cameras will be faster in terms of startup speed and focusing speed.

The main camera of the standard version of Xiaomi 12 will use Sony IMX766 sensor, with 50 million pixels, 1/1.56 inches; the main camera of Xiaomi 12 Pro will be the first to use Sony’s customized IMX707 sensor, also with 50 million pixels, size is 1/1.28 inches. This series of mobile phones will be released at 19:30 on December 28.
