Although it is large, its weight is unimaginable. Photocharging method is super elastic. There are four ways. The first one is charging through DC and exclusive USB charging socket, but the manual mentions that USB sockets should not be connected randomly to avoid damaging the machine. The second way is to charge the battery through Micro USB after the LED is turned on, which is the way of charging the general mobile phone, but the charging time will be longer. The third way is to charge the battery through wireless charging Qi, and the fourth way is to buy an optional charger to charge. The initial charging time is long enough, and it has not been fully charged for two hours. Continuous shooting for 3 hours after full charge (maximum for old models 1 hour). Supplementary note: According to the original manual, the battery can only shoot 4K 100 minutes, and the full HD can shoot for about 300 minutes. Coupled with the lens cover and the random battery, the overall length of the fuselage is slightly longer than 20 cm, which makes it difficult to stuff the original camera pocket. I happened to go to Costco recently and saw a special foam picnic bag, which was just the right size, so I bought it as a camera bag. Speaking of accessories of WX970M, except the standard line charger, the batteries are all long-lasting batteries, which is really generous! In addition to charging supplies, there is a strange hot shoe external plug that is not used at present, but it is a bit stingy to send a memory card. Ready to start shooting, WX970M has four video formats: 4K video, 1080P video, AVCHD video, iFrame video and five kinds of still photo photography. You have to decide the video format before shooting. It will be a little hectic to use it for the first time. Let's start with the 4K format, which is the strongest specification for home digital photography at present, and its resolution is four times that of Full HD 1080P. It is said that even capillary holes can be photographed, but using 4K will take up more memory capacity, and there are two special functions: high-speed photography (slow motion photography) and dual-lens backup mode will not be available. Another feature of WX970M is the dual-lens camera function, which is the spindle feature of Panasonic DV camera in recent two years. Although this sub-lens is small, it can not only rotate about 270 degrees, but also adjust the depression angle and elevation angle of 20 degrees up and down. The main shot always appears in the main picture, and the auxiliary shot always appears in the auxiliary picture. There are many ways to play shots. For example, when shooting a theme, photographers can also enter the camera together to make the film feel more complete. Alternatively, you can focus the main lens on the subtle expressions of the characters, and the auxiliary lens is used to shoot a wide range of content. In a word, it is infinitely useful. The point is ... the photographer has to take care of both the main lens and the auxiliary lens, which is really super busy. Think about the busy scene where I have a DV host in my right hand and a sub-lens in my left hand. How to master the function of WX970M dual lens is a very interesting process. Just mentioned that the 4K photography mode cannot start the dual-camera backup mode, but what is the dual-camera backup mode? This is an intimate function. When you use WX970M's unique dual lens to shoot at the same time, what if one of the lenses is broken? At this time, the double-shot backup function can delete the picture of one of the shots without letting the mother-daughter picture destroy the whole movie. However, this function cannot be used in 4K mode, which is a great pity. WX970M has the function of FullHD 120FPS high-speed photography (slow motion photography), which sounds nothing. Both iPhone 6 and GoPro can do high-speed photography, but most of them are limited to 720P P. FullHD 120FPS can see many wonderful pictures, such as the fighting scene when Chihuahua quarrels, and many different wonders can be photographed with high-speed photography. It has slow playback function, which can simulate the degree of full HD at 240FPS. However, the operation of high-speed cameras is clumsy. If you hold down the "slow" on the LCD screen with one hand, and then press the "shoot ..." icon, it will become normal photography. Does this design have any purpose? But later, I found "always" from the menu, and when I entered the slow-motion mode, I would permanently become slow-motion photography. The hint pattern of the level is very practical, which can remind the photographer that his hand is crooked at any time. The handle is upright. The auxiliary light of the camera is brighter than that of the searchlight. Usually, I turn it off so as not to scare the people who are photographed ... WX970M can prevent hand shock, which is amazing. Even with 20x optical zoom, the picture can be kept extremely stable under hand-held photography. It is quite different from the DV shockproof technology of the model nine years ago. I complain that the interface of playing movies is the biggest failure of WX970M, because before playing movies, you have to choose the playing format: 4K video, 1080P video, AVCHD video, iFrame video, still photos ... You can't see 1080P movies in 4K mode, and vice versa ... Why? Also, before playing, you have to choose whether you want to see the contents of the memory card or the contents of the built-in memory, which is also the part you really want to flip. There are some new technologies in WX970M, such as: mobile phone sending pictures back to the camera, NFC function, WIFI function, editing function, and even the function of converting movies into photos, which have not been encountered yet. I hope to have a look at them sometime. Let's talk about playing 4K movies. Normally, you can watch 4K content on 4K TV, but I don't have a 4K TV at present, but I have a laptop with a 3K resolution of 15 inch MSI video game, and I think I can also experience amazing picture quality. There are many softwares to choose from when playing 4K movies on the computer. I used two sets of free software, GOM Player and VLC Player, which have excellent online reputation. After the GOM player enters the full screen, it will output at the resolution of 1920 x 1080, but it has not been able to find the correct way to play on the 3K monitor, so it has to be abandoned. Finally, using VLC player, 4K movies can be successfully played on 3K monitor, but the picture texture is left, and it seems that there is little difference with 1080P. Later, I read some online articles and pointed out that only on large-size TV can we find the "subtle" differences with 1080P, such as the sharpness of hair and the sharpness of lines. So the conclusion is that the picture quality of 4K is not much different from that of 1080P on a small screen. In order to shoot 4K, according to the instructions, as long as the memory card of 10 is enough, but the manufacturer always advertises that the specifications of UHS-3 can meet the requirements of 4K photography, which makes me very angry ... Finally, I decided to buy a 64G memory card of Sandisk Class 10 and try it. I am very worried that the reading and writing bandwidth is not enough to record 4K movies. After use, the system is normal, so I'm relieved. The exclusive editing backup software HD Writer has no CD and needs to be downloaded through the network (machine serial number is required). The backup function is quite easy to use, and it can automatically start to back up the new video of the camera/memory card. With the backup function of Google Photos, there is no disadvantage. But the function of WIFI backup is terrible, because the computer name is Chinese, so I can't input the computer name through the camera, so I have to give up. Google Photos can only back up 4K movies in the form of 1080p, but it is not limited to the length of the movie and does not calculate the usage space. Having said that, why do I insist on pursuing 4K cameras? Because I believe that today's ultra-high specifications are tomorrow's mass specifications. When I bought Panasonic SD 1440* 1080 nine years ago, the MTS file format made all PC playback software eat the turtle. HDMI TV is also rare. Now any laptop or even mobile phone has full HD playback capability, and HDMI has become the standard of TV. Therefore, I believe that the 4K movie shot today may not look very special, but in the future, with high-end equipment, we may be able to see different scenery from today. Summary: It is really comfortable to buy a 4K camera with a starting price of less than 30K when the yen depreciates. After two weeks of exploration, I can basically master the function. Except for high-speed photography, I should shoot in 4K mode in most cases. An excellent stabilization system allows you to shoot stable movies from a distance of 100 meters. The design of the sub-lens is very interesting, but it is not easy to operate. It takes more practice to play the best combat power.
