Photography trip to Putuo Mountain in Zhejiang

On October 2nd, we set off from Shanghai on a self-driving trip to Putuo Mountain. We had always wanted to go but felt it was a bit far away. Finally, we realized our wish to go to Putuo Mountain during the National Day holiday.

It takes more than four hours to set off from Shanghai, but because of the traffic jam on the road, it took about six hours to reach the destination. When you arrive at the Zhoushan Islands in Zhejiang, you will see the "Zhejiang Zhoushan Islands New District" "Welcome" in big characters

To get to Mount Putuo, you have to pass through Zhoushan City. You can see many magnificent bridges on the road. The islands are also connected by bridges. The real Zhoushan City is in A large island with many subsidiary islands.

There are many such magnificent bridges on the road. This is the Xihoumen Bridge.

I forgot what this bridge is called.

It was already dark when we arrived on the first day, so we found an inn in Zhoushan City to stay overnight.

We set off to Putuo Mountain early the next morning. To go to the mountain, you must buy a round-trip boat ticket. It takes about ten minutes to take a big boat like this to Mount Putuo. This large ship has three floors, and the environment on the ship is very good. When we get to the third floor, we can enjoy the sea breeze and look at the scenery. This is probably still river water, and the water is still as turbid as the sea water next to Shanghai.

Most of the Putuo Mountains are temples, such as Guanyin Temple, Puji Temple, Fayu Temple, etc. Many people come to worship Buddha and burn incense. I heard that making wishes here is very effective, so we also came to make our own wishes. The Guanyin statue in the South China Sea is very big and towering into the clouds. It is very shocking, so I couldn't help but take a picture. We also went to Purple Bamboo Forest and Guanyin Temple.

Mount Putuo is on a small island, so it is surrounded by sea water. However, the sea water here is not very clear, but the waves beat on the rocks, stirring up thousands of waves. Listening to the sound of the surging water, it is still very refreshing. Shocking. We also caught a small crab here.

Here is the largest Puji Temple. The scenery in front of the temple is also very unique. There are two ponds, filled with lotus leaves. When the wind blows, I feel very comfortable. The fountain looks more watery. Smart.

There is a Daqingshan on Putuo Mountain, which is not very high. You can see several famous scenery on the road, such as the heart-shaped stone below, Pantuo Stone, etc.

In Putuo Mountain, I think the most fun thing is the beach. There are hundreds of steps of sand and thousands of steps of sand. There are more tourists in Baibusha, so it may be easier to find. In fact, the scenery in Qianbusha is more beautiful. If you want to take photos, it is recommended to go to Qianbusha.

The sea water here is slightly clearer, the sky is light blue, the clouds are very light, surrounded by endless sea water, with mountains in the distance, it is still very beautiful to take pictures.

The tide began to rise at this time, and the waves of the sea were getting higher and higher, lapping at the coast. Even though half of his pants were wet, he didn't care, just let the sea water kiss him.

Looking at the boundless blue ocean and the active rolling waves, I feel extremely comfortable.

Qianbu Sand is even more artistic when photographed. From this angle, the water seems to be blue.

The sun is setting, and the day’s travel is about to end. The sunset is beautiful!

The day’s trip to Putuo Mountain is about to end. The setting sun stretches our shadows very long, and we feel this warm and beautiful moment.

Putuo Mountain is quite big, so it is better to spend two days there. We felt a little rushed in one day, but we still had a lot of fun, a perfect day!
