How to shoot light and shadow by mobile phone photography

2. Use manual and professional modes on the mobile phone:

When you shoot with new smartphones, they usually automatically jump parameters to get proper exposure. You can click on the brightest part of the image to adjust the exposure to the appropriate exposure. But this method has a disadvantage. When you click on the screen, it will also change the focus.

So shoot in manual mode. Shoot with a fixed ISO and higher shutter speed to obtain a suitable contour image. In this way, you can shift your focus to the theme you want without affecting your exposure.

3. Ignore the subject and pay attention to the shadow:

Sometimes, the shadow of the subject will create interesting patterns and add interesting vision to the whole picture. In particular, repeated patterns and their shadows create interesting pictures. When the shadow falls on another theme, it will have unexpected effects.
