The narrative of the poem is from far to near, from things to people, which is somewhat similar to the passing scene in today's movies. The first thing that appeared before our eyes was the whole exterior where the hero lived-a luxurious and rich building. Beautiful doors and white jade steps lead us to a castle with pepper-painted walls. This is obviously a woman's bedroom in your house. The camera gradually turned from outdoor to indoor: carved windows, finely embroidered doors and faint curtains hung. That style, like the appearance of the house, further confirms the identity of the people in the room. As a result, the camera began to focus on the woman, who was wrapped in exquisite silks and satins, but was fiddling with several herbs in her hand. Vanilla spraying is a hobby of ancient aristocratic women, just like today's ladies spraying perfume. But according to the custom at that time, vanilla was often used as a gift between couples. So, does the fragrant Hopkins picked by our hostess have any other meaning besides decorating herself? The poem also points out that her name is "Jin Lan". If the first four sentences focus on scenery and static scenery, the last four sentences focus on character dynamics and mentality. On the surface, it is also about location, but the performance is different from the landscape writing mentioned above. It is not a purely objective report, but an impression gained from the hero's eyes, with the imprint of the subjective psychology of the characters. She lifted the curtains and greeted the sunshine, teasing the birds ("Jue" and "Sparrow") who stayed on the windowsill and branches. The details of this behavior clearly reveal her depression, struggle and yearning in the environment of heavy imprisonment. It is no wonder that although she lives in a beautiful house and wears fine clothes, she is always silent and unhappy. Where is the joy of life? When will true happiness come? This sad cry comes from an empty and thirsty soul, and no delicious food can fill it.
Speaking of which, the secret buried in the hero's heart has not been revealed positively. Why on earth should she "worry" for many years? What kind of fun do you take as your goal in life? The last two sentences come straight to the point and point out the meaning of the problem at once, but in order to avoid being too naked, figurative rhetoric is adopted. "Ducks" refers to pairs of wild ducks; "Don't be a crane" refers to a lonely crane that has lost its partner. Traditionally, cranes are considered noble birds, while birds are much lower. However, our hostess declared in a decisive tone that she would rather live in the wild like a duck than like a crane in the clouds. A poor and loving life is far better than a rich and lonely cage.
