How are Hollywood animal movies made?

Now computer CG technology is very powerful, you can shoot physical models first, and then do extended special effects on the computer, but some directors have spent several years tracking shooting and selecting specific scene clips, usually documentaries.

First, refit a camera, put it in a box and install a four-sided reflector. Animals will see themselves and the surrounding scenery in the mirror (lions, tigers, bears, leopards and horses, whose eyes have poor resolution), then install four driving wheels below them, install a small computer to control them, and then put them into the wild.

There is also a kind of outside that is not a mirror, but a stone, trash can, camouflage clothes and so on.

When shooting animal movies, sometimes animals are close at hand, sometimes in the deep sea or high altitude, sometimes in the crypt, and sometimes in the cross section of the crypt. The shooting effect seems to give the crypt a complete cross section, and the light is normal. Why?

One is aerial photography, that is, people take pictures by plane, such as helicopters and hot air balloons, which is the most common;

Another is to shoot with drones, so that you can get close to the birds being photographed.

There is another kind that is similar to the first kind, but the birds being photographed are all trained and not afraid of flying machines, so that they can take pictures close to the birds being photographed. For example, there is a documentary abroad. Photography is to photograph the migration of wild geese (as if they were wild geese). A nest of wild geese has been specially domesticated and trained from hatching to being fully familiar with photographers and planes. It took a long time to finish shooting.
