The difference between digital image and digital image
The following is an introduction to image digitization:
Image digitization is a process of converting analog images with continuous spatial distribution and brightness values into digital images that can be processed by computers through sampling and quantization.
Image digitization is widely used in surveying and mapping, photogrammetry, remote sensing and other fields by using computer graphics and image technology.
Specifically, in the imaging process, the continuous distributed images are sampled by TV cameras, rollers, CCD charge-coupled devices and densitometers to obtain discrete pixels with discrete spatial position coordinates, and then the pixel gray level is converted into discrete integer values through quantization, and then the encoding process is carried out.
Refer to Baidu Encyclopedia-Image Digitization for the above information.
