The Original Ecology of Xianxia Valley in Linzhou, Taihang County, Henan Province

Xianxia Valley is located in the south of Wangxiangshi Scenic Area in Taihang Grand Canyon, Linzhou City, Henan Province. It is a natural canyon in the west of Gaojiatai Village, Shibanyan Township, Linzhou City. It is about 4.5 kilometers long and 0.5 kilometers wide, and the narrowest part is only 2 meters. On both sides of the canyon, the mountains are steep, the peaks are numerous, the vegetation is dense and lush; The valley is a water-based travel route with flowing water and quiet pools and waterfalls.

It used to be closed, and it has been hidden in the mountains. With the development of Taihang Grand Canyon Scenic Area and the construction of Taihang Tianlu and Shilin Highway, it opened the door. Here, the green hills are continuous, the streams are gurgling, and the tranquil canyon customs attract teachers and students from art colleges all over the country, such as Beijing, Hebei, Henan and Shanxi, to sketch.

From Hongyu Bridge to the bottom of the valley, you can immediately feel the landscape of South Taihang. On both sides of the canyon are towering red sandstone mountains, and at the bottom is a waterfall pool with clear water. There is an artificial canal under the mountain, clear water flows slowly, and a hydropower station is built on the top of the cliff. There are Qinglong gorge waterfall and Qinglong lake next to the hydropower station, and the waterfall flies down.

In the valley near Shuiduan Village, I saw a winding waterfall, which, under the sunlight, was like a white dragon, wagging its head and going straight to the deep pool. This is Bailong Waterfall and Bailongtan. Further up, the most beautiful scenery in the canyon appears: in the wide valley, there is a stone platform, in front of which is a mossy brook waterfall, on the back is a mountain peak like an eagle spreading its wings, and in the middle is a lush solitary poplar tree. The whole scene is like a landscape painting, which is beautiful.

The road from Shuiduan Village to Heilongtan is an unopened primitive canyon jungle, about 5 kilometers long, and there are several families in the valley. The trees in the dense forest are pressing on the top of the head, looking up through the gap, the sky is high and the clouds are light, and the opposite mountain is steep and vicissitudes. Along the way, listening to the sound of the stream at the bottom of the valley, watching Spiraea and Cotinus coggygria bloom, breathing the fresh air, completely away from the noise and troubles of the city, I was baptized.

The bottom of the valley is a dark pool, which can be returned. Xianxia Valley is a rare place for leisure and water play, with moderate intensity, suitable for the whole family to play together. The water system is rich and the water quality is excellent, but there are no farmers on the road, so you must bring your own lunch. The cell phone signal is not good for most of the journey.
