Computed tomography (CT) and its application.

CT is the information obtained by X-ray scanning of human body, which is digitized and reconstructed by computer. Compared with the traditional X-ray examination method, CT can distinguish tiny density differences among various soft tissue structures, thus expanding the scope of X-ray examination, improving the image quality and promoting the development of modern medical imaging.

The adaptation range of CT scanning is mainly:

(1) Diagnosis of intracranial diseases such as brain trauma, hemorrhage, infarction, tumor, infection, degeneration and congenital malformation; At the same time, it can also diagnose some diseases of spine, intervertebral disc and spinal canal.

(2) It is very helpful for the diagnosis of eye, ear, nose and throat diseases.

(3) Chest examination can detect the primary and metastatic sugar of lung cancer, lung, pleura and mediastinum at an early stage, but it should be carried out purposefully on the basis of plain chest film.

(4) Examination of abdominal and pelvic diseases combined with B-ultrasound;
