Appreciation of underwater photography works

Andreas Franke, an Austrian photographer, hired a diving expedition to dive into the sunken ship Vandenberg, which was 4 miles away from Xijiao Island and was 100 feet underwater, and created 12 digital composite photos for it.

This series of works, called "Life under the Surface", was created to commemorate the great contribution made by the destroyed American missile tracking ship "Vandenberg" in World War II. The photos are taken from abandoned sunken ships, and through surreal means, the daily landscape of the old times is reproduced in the fictional underwater world.
