The New York Institute of Photography was founded by photographer Emile brunell at 19 10. At that time, the school was named E. brunell Photography College after its founder brunell.

19 15, New York Institute of Photography was officially registered as an enterprise in the Supreme Court of New York State.

1956, the New York Institute of Photography was certified by the National Family Learning Research Association for vocational education for the first time.

Today, the New York Institute of Photography has become the largest and oldest one in the world.
