Chengde is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Hebei Province, an international tourist city of Hebei Province and the first batch of national historical and cultural cities approved by the Hebei provincial government, connecting Beijing, Tianjin, Liaoning and Mongolia as regional central cities. The administrative area of the city is 395 1 1.89 square kilometers. By 2020, the city will have jurisdiction over 3 municipal districts, 1 county-level cities, 4 counties and 3 autonomous counties. In 2022, the regional GDP of Chengde City increased by 3.9% year-on-year.
Chengde is located in the transition zone between North China and Northeast China, bordering Beijing and Tianjin in the northeast of Hebei Province, Chifeng and Xilin Gol in the north, Chaoyang, Qinhuangdao, Tangshan and Zhangjiakou in the east and west, 435 kilometers away from Shijiazhuang, the provincial capital, and 225 kilometers away from Beijing. Chengde scenic spot
Chengde mountain resort. Chengde mountain resort is located in the north of Chengde City, Hebei Province, commonly known as Chengde Palace, formerly known as Jehol Palace. It was built in the forty-second year of Kangxi in Qing Dynasty and finally completed in the fifty-fifth year of Qianlong. It took 87 years to build buildings, platforms, halls, pavilions, temples, towers, corridors, bridges 120, and 72 scenic spots, especially Kang and Ganyu, which were the summer resorts and palaces of the Qing emperors.
Temple of Pule. Pule Temple is located in Pinggang, south of Anyuan Temple and northeast of Summer Resort. It was built in the thirty-first year of Qing Qianlong. The architectural layout is divided into two parts. The front part is the traditional form of Han temples from the mountain gate to Zongyin Hall. In the back, there is an altar city with triple walls. On the second floor, there is a glass Lama Tower between the four corners and the four sides.
