Shi Yunxiang, a famous contemporary painter in China, 1956, was born in Chengdu, Sichuan. He used to be the vice president of Sichuan Emei Painting Academy, and now he is a researcher of China Academy of Art, executive editor of Guangdong Editorial Department of Oriental Artists, member of Guangdong Artists Association, director of Guangzhou Landscape Painting Research Association, and associate professor of Guangzhou Painting and Calligraphy Institute.

His works have been exhibited at home and abroad for many times and won awards. His excellent works have been collected by Japanese, Singaporean and other countries as well as Hongkong, Taiwan Province, Europe and America.

1995 participated in the "Elite of Contemporary China Painters" sponsored by China Art Palace and won the silver prize; In the same year, his personal biography was included in the list of modern painting and calligraphy masters in China; 1996 held a solo exhibition in Guangzhou Art Museum.
