It took only four months from script creation to scene selection, but we almost gave up this plan until we found the "Shuangqi Town", because we had to find the ancient city in the story before we could start shooting this play. Our play cost 6.5438+0.27 million yuan, and the budget decided that I had no money to shoot the scenery. Yang, Qian and I walked more than 10,000 kilometers along the Hexi Corridor and finally made a breakthrough in a place called Camel City. We drove a Beijing Jeep all the way along the Lan Xin Highway and saw a small corner that passed through many sand dunes, which was a bit like a post station on the Silk Road. We fixed our position with a compass, then got off and walked in the desert for two hours. When we crossed the last sand dune, a complete ancient city site appeared in front of us in the afterglow of the sunset, very beautiful!
