QVGA resolution and mobile phone camera technology

QVGA resolution

QVGA refers to QuarterVGA, which is 1/4 the size of VGA. On the LCD screen, we can achieve a resolution of 240×320 pixels. The resolution of QVGA is quite excellent, which is widely used by many devices such as smart phones.

Auto-focusing technology

Auto-focus technology can automatically adjust the shooting effect and ensure the clarity of photos. At present, only Sony Ericsson K750, W8 10, W800 and BenQ S88 support autofocus.

Optical zoom technology

Optical zoom enlarges or reduces an object by moving the lens. The greater the magnification, the more convenient the shooting prospect. At present, there are few mobile phones supporting optical zoom, only a few products from Samsung and LG.

Technical and cost issues

Although autofocus and optical zoom are the development trends of mobile phone photography, their technical and cost problems make it very difficult to popularize them. Currently, only a few mobile phones support these technologies.
