Personality traits that every photographer should have.
1, self-awareness
This is an important trait that every photographer needs. If you don't have a clear understanding of yourself, you don't know where you should improve and where you should converge.
There is a term in psychology called "Ducker effect", which refers to a cognitive deviation. People with insufficient ability have an illusory sense of self-superiority and mistakenly think that they are better than the real situation. Simply put, mediocre people are prone to self-expansion because of lack of self-knowledge.
It is not easy to know yourself clearly. We need to know our identity and ability, and face others' criticism of our works correctly. Speaking of photography, it is equally important. Being able to accept criticism is the driving force to know yourself, understand yourself and grow up.
Step 2 be honest
If you are not honest with yourself, you can't grow. Admitting our shortcomings rather than avoiding them is the first step in our growth. When we know what is wrong with us, we should know how to solve it.
When working in a team, trust is also the basis of team contact. It is not easy to build this honest trust, especially when faced with criticism and being criticized, everyone will have some small ideas in his heart more or less. But facing criticism correctly can open the way to help each other grow.
3. Thick-skinned
As a photographer, you need thick skin too much. If you are afraid to take the initiative or even hesitate to point the camera at others for a long time, you will never have a chance to take a good photo. Most wonderful moments are not taken by posing. We should have the ability to seize the opportunity. Everyone should make his own choice in taking good photos and saving face.
4. Optimism and passion
Friends who often take pictures will feel that when we take a certain amount of pictures, we will always encounter a bottleneck period, as if everything has been taken, as if everything we take is a repetition of the past, and it is too boring to take pictures.
Taking photos is like a part of life, because we are more closely connected with the surrounding environment, showing us how to observe the world in a deeper and more meaningful way.
Sometimes, the only thing that can move us forward is optimism and enthusiasm for taking pictures.
There is no shortcut to taking pictures. No one is a master in books. No matter how much technology you master, it serves the picture. How to capture the picture is an empirical problem. Only by taking more photos can we deepen our understanding of the content and know how to capture the picture in front of us. Only by taking more pictures can we take better pictures.
