Highlights from the video of dinosaur reappearances
"The Reappearance of Dinosaurs" is a global scientific discovery. From the earliest dinosaurs in the Triassic Period to the largest dinosaurs in the Cretaceous Period, they were all "reborn" on the giant IMAX screen. . Audiences will follow a group of the world's top paleontologists as they explore powerful evidence that proves that descendants of dinosaurs still exist on this earth. From the sand dunes and bizarre routes that leave no trace in the Gobi Desert of Inner Mongolia to the majestic desert peaks of New Mexico, the film will also follow the footsteps of paleontologists from the American Museum of Natural History to learn about some important discoveries about dinosaurs. Thanks to the realistic and scientific accuracy of computer animation simulation technology, some dinosaurs that we are very familiar with, and even some that have just been discovered, will be vividly presented to the audience.
In the early 1920s, Roy Chapman _andrews, a scientist and explorer at the American Museum of Natural History, admired the story of Indiana Jones so much that he traveled to Mongolia five times desert. Andrew and his expedition discovered hundreds of dinosaur remains, many of which were new to science, including the first Velociraptor fossil, the first fossilized dinosaur nest containing dinosaur eggs, and the first fossilized dinosaur nest in the chalk. Fossils of early mammals that lived alongside dinosaurs in the late epoch. He also teamed up with a Hollywood camera crew to film the adventure. This precious photographic work, like the film presented on the IMAX big screen today, provides the audience with a special opportunity to travel through time and space and go to the mysterious archaeological site to find out.
Since 1990, scientists Mike Novacek and Mark Norell of the American Museum of Natural History have followed Andrew’s footsteps every summer on archaeological expeditions to the Gobi Desert in Mongolia. Many of them have never been discovered. All dinosaur fossils in the past came from the Mongolian Gobi. The collapsed sand dunes instantly submerged all the animals, and their bones are only now revealed due to corrosion. The most exciting part of the film is when a Protoceratops and a Velociraptor were fighting fiercely, a sand dune suddenly collapsed, destroying the lives of the two fighting instantly. However, their fossils prove to us that they were indeed in a fierce fight at that time. Their claws and jaws were entangled with each other, and we can imagine the intensity of this battle. Similar wonderful moments and those sealed mysterious stories are reproduced with the help of advanced computer animation synthesis technology (CGI).
The film will also take us to the dangerous zone of northern New Mexico with towering dune peaks and columnar rocks, where there are more and more amazing new discoveries about dinosaurs. Since the 1940s, scientists at the American Museum of Natural History have unearthed many perfect animal specimens at the "Ghost Ranch." There, corrosion can penetrate several layers of sediment, allowing the remains of the earliest dinosaurs from the Triassic Period, 230 million years ago, to be revealed.
