Floor layout methods and requirements for different booth types

The first impression the audience has on the exhibitors is the booth, so the booth design is built to express the exhibitor’s corporate image and exhibition planning theme. At the same time, it should be unique and eye-catching to attract the attention of the audience and leave a deep impression on people. Below, I will share with you the layout methods and requirements for different booth types. I hope it will be helpful to you!

Inner corner type

Generally located in the corner of the venue. Its advantage is that visitors from both channels can notice the booth, making it easy to attract visitors. The disadvantage is that three booths are needed to achieve the exhibition effect.

Peninsula type

means that three sides of the booth space are open to the passage. Its advantage is that it has great flexibility in design arrangement, broad vision, and can easily form a certain stage landscape and become the visual center. The disadvantage is that it is not suitable to use standard exhibition equipment and there are fewer exhibition walls available.

Island type

It is open on all sides and is generally located in the center of the exhibition hall. It is usually provided to exhibitors in the form of open space. Its advantage is that the display area is the largest, the shape and scale can be relatively large, and the booth space with the smoothest flow of people gives people a sense of relaxation and freedom. The disadvantage is that there is no wall space to lay out.

Single-opening type

Generally distributed on both sides of the aisle, with only one side open to the audience passage. Its advantage is that the three walls provide the most adequate display of exhibits and promotional materials. Exhibition boards and exhibition walls can be used to arrange paintings, reliefs, photography, charts, texts and other materials. Its disadvantages are narrow depth and small viewing angle.

Double-opening type

Generally located at the corner of the walkway or at the intersection of cross-shaped or T-shaped passages, with two adjacent sides open to the audience passages on both sides. Its advantages are a relatively large flow of people and a wide field of view, making it more suitable for the display of key exhibits and fine products. The disadvantage is that there is less wall space for display and more independent exhibition equipment is needed.

Two-way channel type

It is a position where both ends are open. Its advantage is that it has a good display surface, and exhibits can be placed on both sides. The audience can walk and watch in the passage, the flow of people is smooth, and the display effect is good.
