Do professional photographers use magnifying glasses?

How to understand this "major"?

Actually, it doesn't matter whether you are a professional or an amateur. Some people use magnifying glasses, others don't.

Several teachers upstairs have commented on the advantages and disadvantages of magnifying glasses, so I won't go into details.

But I want to remind you of one thing:

In modern SLR cameras, autofocus cameras are the mainstream at present.

At present, all autofocus technologies need to reach F5.6 or above to work normally.

(In fact, if the aperture of the original manual focusing camera is smaller than F5.6, the segmented image on the focusing screen will not work. )

In other words, the lens of F2.8 must be equipped with a 2X magnifying glass to perfectly realize the AF function.

The 2.8 lens should be regarded as a professional lens in the eyes of most people.

In addition, in the initial lens design of each company, the power amplifier was forced to be used only in professional telephoto lenses when designing.

You can pay attention to the back lens of the lens. Most high-end professional lenses are recessed into the lens barrel.

In the original power amplifier, the lens group at one end connected with the lens is convex.

This kind of concave-convex fits perfectly.

If you want to install the original magnifying glass on a18-50,24-120, you can't install it at all (the mirror end is flat, not concave).

But there is no problem when used in telephoto lenses such as 70-200/2.8, 300/2.8, 400/2.8, 600/4. It costs as much as tens of thousands of yuan.

From this perspective, the magnifying glass is for professional (at least professional lens).
