There are 136 peaks in Yuntai Mountain, of which Huaguoshan is the highest mountain in Jiangsu Province at an altitude of 625.3 meters. Huaguo Mountain is green and lush, with beautiful peaks. The special geographical latitude here has created the charming scenery of spring urging flowers and fruits, surging Yuntai, mountains and waters, and beautiful scenery. As a tourist attraction, Huaguoshan's real fame should be attributed to Wu Cheng'en's The Journey to the West. In October, 1982, 127 experts who participated in the first national academic seminar in The Journey to the West unanimously agreed that Huaguo Mountain in Yuntai was the real old home of the Monkey King.
If you visit Huaguo Mountain and read The Journey to the West again, your greatest pleasure lies in enjoying this fairyland on earth. Nature's fantastic stones, some like human beings, some like immortals, such as all kinds of "monkey stones", are lifelike and have different postures, which makes people appreciate why the Monkey King has changed magically; Another example is "Sand Monk Stone", "Bajie Stone" and "Tang Priest Stone", which vividly show the characters of monk monk Tang Priest and his disciples; What's even more amazing is that Sun Monkey's fetus, such as the "stone", the "golden hoop stick", the "needle stone" and the "stone drum", are almost identical in shape and even size to those described in The Journey to the West. There are hundreds of large and small caves on Huaguo Mountain, which are collectively referred to as 72 caves by local people. Big holes, small holes, strange holes, holes connected with holes, and hidden demons in holes are all at work. To this end, Wu Cheng'en had a whimsy, which gave the Monkey King a place to play. Among these caves in Huaguoshan, water curtain cave is the most magical one. The waterfall at the entrance of the cave is suspended, passes through the water curtain flowing down, and follows the deep caves, such as entering the "Dragon Palace in the East China Sea". Above water curtain cave, there is a book "Heart Yin Shi House" given by Emperor Daoguang of Qing Dynasty. Other scenic spots closely related to The Journey to the West's story on Huaguoshan include Laojuntang, Panlongsong, Xianren Bridge, Nantianmen, Cane cypress, Tang Priest's Family Monument, Tuanyuan Palace, Zhaohai Pavilion, Lazy Stone, Meiren Pine, Natural Monument, Fairy Stone, Yixiantian, Jiulong Bridge and Yunv Mountain ...
The ancient buildings on Huaguoshan are quite distinctive. Ashoka Tower at the foot of the mountain is a landmark building in the mountain. The tower was built in the first year of Song Tiansheng [AD 123] and has a history of nearly a thousand years. This tower has nine levels and eight sides, with a pure brick structure and a pure height of 1.58 meters. Although it has passed through an earthquake of magnitude 8.5 in history, it is still intact. According to legend, this tower was built by Wei Zhigong, a general of the Tang Dynasty, so it is also called Tang King Tower. Sanyuan Palace, also known as Haining Temple, is the largest ancient architectural complex on Huaguo Mountain. It is built against the mountain and has a magnificent momentum. The temple originated in the Tang Dynasty and was rebuilt in the Song Dynasty. It was given to the Ming Dynasty, and the arch in front of the main gate of the temple was "given to the Sanyuan Palace to protect the country" by Emperor Daoguang. There is a sacred tablet in the temple, which was awarded in the 3th year of Ming Shenzong Wanli [AD 162], and it was named as one of the "famous temples in the world". Today's Sanyuan Palace is a well-known Buddhist resort, with incense all year round and customers like a cloud.

The four famous bamboos in China are "gold inlaid with jade bamboo", which is fun and pottery; On the "God-watching Platform", you can get a glimpse of the 4-meter-long "God", the largest Chinese character in the world. Looking at the "righteous monk pavilion", you can learn the story of 5 monks bravely resisting Japan on Huaguo Mountain.

The ancients were superstitious, thinking that the white tiger was a bad star, and "the white tiger was near the city" was unlucky, and they wanted to change the name of the mountain many times.
