Technical classification of 35 mm wide screen system

This is an undeformable widescreen system, which uses a standard 35 mm camera and a conventional optical system to shoot. Only a window frame with a certain frame ratio is installed in front of the camera to reduce the height of the picture without changing the width. This is the simplest and most economical way to change the aspect ratio of a picture. When projecting, add a projection window with the same aspect ratio as the photographic picture on the projector, and use the projection objective to project with short focal length, so as to enlarge the picture on the big screen and obtain a wide screen effect. The aspect ratio of a widescreen screen system is usually 1.66: 1 or 1.85: 1. Its disadvantage is that the effective utilization rate of film is low, and because the projection objective with short focal length is adopted, the magnification during projection is increased and the clarity of screen picture is reduced. But it is widely used in many countries because of its convenience, economy and practicality. In recent years, it has gradually increased, replacing the deformed widescreen. We look forward to better scientific and technological development.
