1. Use the environment to create freshness

Full flowers themselves are thicker, and the length of branches will be more difficult to compose, so we can skillfully use large aperture to blur the background to avoid the clutter of the picture.

Like the last one, this one has green leaves in the foreground, but this time the wooden table is matched with the bookshelf at the back, and the color of the flowers is in harmony with the overall tone, creating a good atmosphere. When taking this picture, the light is not as ideal as the last one. This picture is far from the window. When the low sensitivity is between ISO 100-400, we can see that the picture is clean and delicate, and the color reproduction is accurate and saturated. In order to make the picture more transparent and create a fresh feeling, the sensitivity is adjusted to 640 and the aperture is 2.8, and the color of the picture is well controlled.

2. Selective ingredients

Flowers have different shapes, so you should carefully observe their posture when shooting. Some flowers grow upward. In order to highlight its growth trajectory, we choose vertical composition to be conservative. If it is like meat or spherical flowers, we choose horizontal composition to highlight the loveliness of the flowers.

The above two pictures are the best illustrations of vertical composition respectively. The roots of flowers are very slender, so we choose vertical composition to create a deep and upward feeling. These two pictures are horizontal composition, which is more suitable for colorful flowers and makes them more round and full.

3. Tone and subsequent control

In order to keep my true colors when I shoot flowers, I basically just fine-tune them and give priority to warm colors. Bright colors bring people a pleasant mood, and the exposure can also be increased. In order to create a fresh feeling, I also added some blue and cyan.
