Personal experience

Rough life experience

1975, Zhang Mali was selected by wireless, which is the third "Miss Hong Kong" since they held the Miss Hong Kong beauty pageant. Zhang Mali's life is legendary. The reason is that she had the experience of wandering the streets before becoming a Hong Kong sister, and after becoming a Hong Kong sister, she won the title of "Top Ten Outstanding Youth" in Hong Kong. She is also the sister-in-law of Hong Kong Kung Fu superstar Bruce Lee. All this makes the story about her seem so mysterious.

1975 the third hong kong sister election is slightly different from the previous two. This year, the selection of "Most Photographed Miss" and "Miss Friendship" was added. The "most photogenic miss" is selected by TV viewers according to their own preferences, while the "Miss Friendship" is selected by the ten finalists themselves. In this beauty contest, the winner of "Miss Hongkong" is Zhang Mali, the runner-up is Zhu Cuijuan and the third runner-up is Guan Shufen. The winner of the "most photogenic miss" selected by the audience is Situ Lingzhi, and the winner of "Miss Friendship" is Zhu Cuijuan, the current runner-up of Hong Kong sister.

Zhang Mali was 23 years old when she won the Hong Kong Sister Championship, which was older than the previous Hong Kong Sisters. It should be related to her bumpy life experience. Zhang Mali, whose ancestral home is Suzhou, a water town in the south of the Yangtze River, is of British descent because her grandmother is British. 1952,

Zhang Mali was born in Hong Kong, but due to family reasons, she was abandoned by her family shortly after her birth and became a street child in Hong Kong. During this time, she lived a miserable life that ordinary people can't imagine. It was not until she was nine years old that she was adopted by Hong Kong Baoliang Bureau and began to have a place to live. but

The inhuman life experience did not extinguish Zhang Mali's dream of success. After graduating from Jiangsu and Zhejiang middle schools with honors, she was admitted to the business department of Sacred Heart School. After graduation, she was able to work in the Nigerian consulate and started her career.

During my work in the Nigerian consulate, Zhang Mali's beauty and wisdom began to be recognized. Participating in the selection of "Miss Hong Kong" is also an "unintentional" thing, but I didn't expect her to win the championship with the connivance of her colleagues.

Successful career

After becoming the champion of Hong Kong Sister, Zhang Mali did not directly enter the "wireless" job like most other Hong Kong Sisters. In the second year after winning the title of Hong Kong Sister, Zhang Mali entered Chiayi TV Station as an assistant director, and once participated in the production of some TV dramas and educational programs. Two years later, she jumped ship and went to Li's TV station. During his years in Leigh, Zhang Mali did a lot of work, including hosting programs, hosting and performing. Among the TV series she participated in during this period, the famous ones are nirvana in fire, Jaws and Wild Silkworm Change.

While working, she never stopped studying because of her studious nature. After becoming a signing artist of Li TV Station, I spent my spare time in the evening studying business administration in Hong Kong Polytechnic for two years. After entering the 1980s, Zhang Mali gradually withdrew from the entertainment circle, but her career was not affected. In her spare time, she not only helped the Radio and Television Department of Hong Kong to host educational programs such as Justice, Doctors and You, but also began to learn painting and photography and wrote columns for some newspapers.

As a Hong Kong elder sister, she will naturally be invited to a film performance, but Zhang Mali is very strict with herself, and she will never easily agree to act unless she sees a good script. It wasn't until 1987 that Hong Kong Xinghui Film Company received a gift from Zhang Mali and agreed to star in the film "Morning Flowers Pick Up in the Evening" adapted from the science fiction novel of the famous female writer Yi Shu. The story of the film is staggered in time and space, which integrates love and ethics and is quite distinctive. Zhang Mali played a professor and his wife with the famous movie star Roy Chiao in this film that spanned several decades. Zhang Mali's performance in "it" has been well received by people in the industry, but it's a pity that she didn't bring us more screen works. 1988, she and Terry Lai Siu-ping co-founded a mini-film art company to carry out video direct selling business, which can be regarded as continuous cultivation in the film and television industry.

Love public welfare

1February 2, 980, married Dr. Li from the Hong Kong Observatory. Li, who was born as a scholar, has a certain popularity in his subject field, but compared with his younger brother, Kung Fu superstar Bruce Lee, his fame is much smaller. Shortly after marrying Li, she gradually faded out of the entertainment circle and became a good wife and mother at home.

In addition to focusing on building family happiness, Zhang Mali, who has received social welfare assistance, is also particularly keen on social welfare undertakings. 1988, she participated in planning and selling "Hong Kong Sister Charity Calendar 1988" to raise funds for public welfare undertakings. In the same year 10, Zhang Mali was selected as one of the "Top Ten Outstanding Young People in Hong Kong" and became the only Miss Hong Kong in the history of Hong Kong sisters to receive this honor.

Zhang Mali, a successful and happy family, is a rare strange girl with both talents and looks. In the mid-1980s, she also held an art exhibition in Fujian at the invitation of the mainland. Zhang Mali combined his own personal experience and wrote his own life and views on life and love into the collection of essays "Good Memories". Through this book, we can truly feel this Hong Kong sister's love for life and her indomitable spirit of fighting against fate. In April, 1989, she held her first photo exhibition in Bao Zhaolong Gallery of Hong Kong Art Center. After that, she went to Shenzhen and Guangzhou to hold solo photography exhibitions, but Zhang Mali, who faded out of the film and television circle, began to get better and better on another stage.

Personal life

Zhang Mali got married on February 2, 1980/KLOC-0. Her husband is Dr. Li, a member of the He Dong family. He is not only the elder brother of a generation of superstar Bruce Lee, but also the ex-husband of talented woman writer Lin Yanni, who was the assistant director of the Hong Kong Observatory. After marriage, Zhang Mali retired from the entertainment circle and concentrated on taking care of her husband and children. She gave birth to a son and a daughter in 198 1 and 1984 respectively, but their marriage only lasted 15, and they signed a divorce in 1995.

After the divorce, Zhang Mali continued to develop her career and established Zhang Mali Marketing (International) Co., Ltd., and served as the executive director, mainly engaged in public relations planning, marketing and professional image training. At present, Li Yin died of a heart attack on September 3, 2008. After graduation, his son Li Weihao became a professor at the University of Melbourne, Australia, and his daughter Li Yi studied for a master's degree there.
